The Life in Buenos Aires, Living in Buenos Aires
Published by admin on July 2nd, 2009 | Tagged Uncategorized

I’ve been in Buenos Aires for almost two weeks now, and so far I’ve been enjoying the time.  While not everything in Buenos Aires  is cheaper than the United States, going out to get beer cost about $2 per beer, going to the movies cost me $3 on the right day, and just going for lunch has costed me as little as $3. Taxis end up costing about $2 per ride.

Buenos Aires is a big city.  Though it is in South America, it seems strangely a lot like Europe.  The architecture also shows off the fact that it was highly influenced by Europe.

The only biggest challenge in Buenos Aires has been communication.  Since my Spanish is highly limited I often find myself pointing a lot.  I haven’t had any major problems getting around, but occasionally there has been the odd miscommunication.  Still it is a nice city and worth visiting.

Future plans? Get a steak in a few moments.  Argentians have perfected things like steaks.  Otherwise I still went to head west to Chile and also go up to see Cordoba.
