Since I have an EEE PC which I purchased in North America and am now in South America, getting it fixed is a real issue.  Unfortunately Asus does not have much EEE PC support for those abroad in countries like Argentina.  Brazil has a customer support number, while service in the other South American countries doesn’t exist.

The only way I’d be able to get it fixed is by shipping the entire laptop to North America and then get it shipped back.  Who only knows what kind of time this would take.  The cost of this effort would probably also not be worth it.

Overall, if your pc is going to break, hopefully its not an asus EEE pc while you are in South America.  You probably won´t be able to get it fixed.
