Schwans recently did a promotion for free $10 of food delivered straight to your door. This may have been one of the best free internet stuff promotion ever. Though even Glidden Paint decided to send everyone free paint straight to their door. Other free stuff on the internet I’ve seen includes free 4 blade razors, even free Burger King Whoppers. But, does this Schwan’s promotion take the top for best free stuff promotion on the internet ever?
Consider that Schwans is offering the first 500,000 people to sign up free deliver of their frozen food up to the price of $10. This includes deliver, the food, everything, just free. Of course they hope that after you sample their service, you’ll want more. Or will Schwan’s just be providing free stuff at the cost of $10 a person for half a million people?
Why is this a good promotion? 1) It’s free with no strings (as far as I know). 2) Anyone in the United States can sign up. 3) Easy to reddem with up to $10 in frozen food straight to your door (no coupons, or waiting 6 weeks for the promotion) 4. Easy to get accepted. With half a million people able to sign up, it should be possible to sign up at the beginning without any major difficulties (unless their server crashes)
