Infolinks Paying Low Earnings ECPM

Lately Infolinks has started paying a very measily low ECPM rate. When i used to get 60 dollars a day from Infolinks it has dropped to as low as 9 dollars a day. A major difference. Is infolinks suffering a case of the bad economy and having trouble getting new advertisers?

Anytime a company like infolinks starts paying a low ECPM, people are going to switch to other advertisers which could actually be positive letting you get more advertisers. However, you should always be ready with other advertisers to get additional link clicks from. When they earnings get low from infolinks you can always switch over to Kontera for example or even adbrite has their own in ad text advertisements.

Things can happen, earnings can be low one month, which is why if you work full time always save your money and DO NOT LIVE PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK. Earning money online can be stable but there can also be rainy days, weeks, and even months.

Building a Forum for Additional Traffic

Adding and building a forum for your website is a great way to build additional website traffic. Forums are indexed in Google and allow for other people to have conversations right on your blog. These conversations get indexed by Google, linked to by other webpages, and build more content for your website. This all leads to one think you are trying to get more of, traffic.

I chose to stick with BBPress for my forums. BBPress is essentially from the makers of Wordpress, is free, and can easily be linked to your Wordpress blog, even automatically importing all the user names and passwords from your Wordpress blog.

A popular chose for building a forum is also VBulletin which would set you back $180. It isn’t that much though if you want a really good forum. Plus VBulletin has a lot of support. Still in the end I chose the free solution since I can always upgrade later.

Wordpress 2.9 Download Includes Image Editor

Now you will be able to edit images right in the next download of Wordpress 2.9. Now this won’t require any plugins. Wordpress 2.9 will be a great download for editing images even easier, and of course it should be more secure than previous versions of Wordpress. As I’ve noticed the previous downloads of Wordpress actually led to my website getting hacked and having viruses inserted since there are some holes that leave certain files available for attack.

We will be looking forward to the new Wordpress version 2.9, even though all we can really expect to be able to do is, be able to crop, resize, and rotate images.

Where Are My Adsense Income Reports?

I haven’t posted my Adsense Income reports in awhile. Why? My Adsense Income reports haven’t totally disappeared, maybe they just got sidetracked? Maybe people post their Adsense Income Reports to show how their website is coming along, that they were able to increase their income from month to month.

Based on my current Adsense Income Reports, I’ve found that once you reach a certain income level, it becomes harder to increase your income by the same percentages as when I first started my blog. At levels of $10,000 per month getting to $20,000 seems much harder then going from $500 to $1000.

After awhile of using the same marketing techniques, the effect isn’t as great as when you first start. If things are leveling off for your adsense income report too, just trying implementing your new strategies. Don’t forget that new ones, but maybe people are becoming less sensitive to your marketing and you need to try something new?

As for my current Adsense Income Report, I will try to post a summary soon.
