Recently the older versions of the Amazon Kindle E-Book readers have gone significantly down in price. Each time Amazon releases a new Kindle E-Book reader, the previous editions drop in price. Already the original Kindle 1 e-book reader can be purchased for as little as $150. The Kindle 2, the next version of the Kindle e-reader has dropped to the price of $210 having only been released as far away ago as February.
The only real competition to Amazon’s e-book reader has been from Sony, but expect other manufacturers to be releasing their own versions soon. Even some of the Sony E-Book readers have been appearing for under the price tag of $200.
The new e-book reader price tags are great for anyone who’s been looking to buy a device but has been cautious due to the high prices surrounding these items. Still future devices will continue to become mainstream considering that this is a very new market.
