When it comes to auto blogging, their is no auto poster that can beat pure handmade written text, but they can however add content easily and automatically stealing feeds from whatever post you want on the internet.

In fact auto posters can be really helpful if you need to compile information fast from various sources and don’t have the time to do it. Take for instance a coupon site. You could use an auto poster to compile coupons from many different coupons, then manually go in and approve which coupons to post.

Some of the various auto posters out there, that are also free include:
Wp O Matic

WP-Venus

One of the premium auto posters I’ve been using is called MyVideoBlog and automatically takes feeds based on youtube and republishes them including the video. I’ve got my own custom templates designed to make things even more unique. Of course I go through and hand write all the posts myself for even more unique articles.

Can you make a successful online business without relying on Google or using Adsense to earn profits? The answer is yes, that there are many websites making money online without relying on Google at all. In fact using Google Adsense can be stressful since your income can fluctuate daily with minimal control.

Relying on Google for traffic is a good way for users to come to your site for free, but what happens if Google changes the way it ranks your website and you lose much of your traffic. What would you do?

Though I’ve relied on Google’s search engine and their adsense system for a long time, it’s time to start thinking outside the box. There are people selling products on eBay for money, people offering services ect.

My new years resolution? Start making money with ways outside the Google stronghold!

It is a bad day for anyone who gets banned from Google Adsense. I’ve experienced a partial ban from Google Adsense in the past, and I know people who have gotten the full ban, meaning all their sites getting banned at once. This really takes the fun out of making websites, and it takes a huge hit to anyone’s income.

Steps to Take When Getting Banned by Google Adsense
1. Immediately sign up for other ad companies. Good places to start are infolinks, chitika, and adbrite.
2. Replace the spot where your Google Adsense ads were with ads from other companies. The longer you wait the more revenue you stand to lose.
3. Don’t Panic! Write Adsense and explain, maybe you can get your account back, but it doesn’t always happen.

Life happens and so does getting a fat ban from Google Adsense. Make sure you stay with their terms of service so you can avoid this before it happens!

Resources for Google Adsense Ban

Though you can design your blog anyway you want, blog traffic can be influenced by the actual design of your blog. Though I haven’t changed the blog design on this blog for over a year, I’ve experimented with other sites such as SampleADay.com and CanadaSamples.com and seen positive results after changing the design to something more professional.

You can win a reader over with your blog content, but to get them to continue reading, you need a blog design that doesn’t look spammy or unprofessional. By adding your own custom design, you can help make your blog design look more original and credible. On SampleADay.com I even added my own Avatar of myself for a more personal effect.

When it comes down to it, free blog templates are cheap, but they make your blog look like everyone else’s. If you are getting decent traffic, pay for a professinal design or at least design it yourself.

Now that it is between Christmas and New Years blog ECPM has never been higher. One of my blogs even has an ecpm of $28 making my blog earnings much higher, making up for the crappy traffic I received during Christmas. During the New Year holiday, will blog traffic be low again? Probably at least for one or two days. However, once the holidays are over, blog ecpm earnings should be back to normal, if not better.

So during the holidays, expect a low ecpm, but in the best case, traffic could pick back up, giving you higher than ever ECPM. So don’t be down during the holidays, your earnings might go higher like mine have, at least wait to cry about your ecpm until after the holidays are over…

Yes you can get suspended from your twitter account. Without warning you can get the message “Sorry, the profile you were trying to view has been suspended due to strange activity.”

Some people have retaliated from Twitter by singing up for the alternative called Plurk. Any activity deemed to be spammer like usually ends in an account getting banned or suspended from Twitter. Even activity like having your posts auto added to Twitter can set off the alarm.

If you really weren’t spamming you probably can get your account unsuspended. Just write them and let them know what happened. Some people get caught in spam clouds or twitter members block them leading to the spam triggger.

All in all this just confirms that no your twitter is not really yours, since twitter seems so suspend anyone they want to, even if they didn’t really spam or actually do anything long.

How to Find EDU Blog Backlinks
There are a number of free tools for finding backlinks to edu blogs. http://www.edublogfinder.com/ is a great way to search edu blogs for a place to comment and get your backlink.

Just find a few edu blogs and get your blog listed. Or, if you belong to a university, see if you can get your own webpage and link your blog there for extra link love.

If you have a blog or a website you need websites linking to your blog to boost your page rank which will lead to better search results for your website. One way to do this is through getting links to your blogs. But what are the best ways to find and get links linking back to your blog?

Find Your Competitor’s Blog Links
1. You can easily find good links to your blog by searching related blogs for links. In Google, search this phrase: link:relatedblog.com Make sure relatedblog.com is written as a blog that is related. This will list all the links back to their blog letting you know where to start looking to get links to your blog.

2. Search Google.com/blogsearch for related blogs. I tend to add the phrase blogspot in there because blogspot blogs are the easiest to get your comment approved vs wordpress.com blogs which always seem to get marked as spam.

If you have a website and want people to do something for you, one of the best ways is through a website promotion. This can include prizes and gifts if the people that visit your website do what you want them to you. Whether it is a daily gift giveaway for subscribing or a random prize giveaway for people who write on your forum, or comment on your blog, this can significantly help grow your blog traffic.

Why I Offer Prizes and Gifts On My Website
Sometimes people need a little incentive. The thought of winning something can be just enough motivation to get my websites growing without spending a lot of money. One of the current deals on some of my forums is that if they start 100 new topics they get a t shirt. Though 100 sounds like a lot in order to get a prize or gift, it actually has motivated more people to start writing for me.

They get the tshirt and I get even more additional advertising (when they wear the t shirt). Plus, they will want to wear the tshirt because they worked for it. This might motivate other people they tell to want to write on the forum too. Overall offering prizes and gifts can multiply your traffic greatly.

I tend to stay away from monetary prizes and stick with something like a tshirt or other prize that could cost any amount. This way they aren’t working for $5, but rather something that could be worth 5, 10, or even 20 dollars depending on how the person values it.

There are different ways to get traffic to your blog and the two best ways are search engine traffic and paid traffic. Search engine traffic comes organically from good SEO and search engines crawling your websites. You receive paid traffic from keywords you pay for often pay per click with services like Google Adwords or MSN Adcenter.

Of the two Organic Search Engine Traffic is of course cheaper, but it takes more effort and time to get things going. Paid Traffic on the other hand gets things moving faster allowing you to pay for the terms you want and possibly generate sales and revenue much faster.

Which Way To Get Traffic is Better?
I would combine both methods to get things moving. Use paid traffic to get your website going, and continue to work on organic search engine traffic to save money later.
