Lunch Restaurant Coupons, Save Money At Lunch

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

A new site called Lunchtimedeals.com allows users to find mobile coupons at lunch,  have it sent to their phone and use the deal to save at lunch.  Currently the site lunch saing service has only coupons for lunch, but in the future, if this site becomes popular I could imagine seeing more destinations besides New York.

Q: How does Lunchtimedeals.com work?
A: Signup with Lunchtimedeals.com, find a coupon posted by restaurants in your area, clip it or send it to your cell phone.

It seems like a good idea and may make printing coupons even easier. Besides, who says we really need to print out so many paper slips. This just may be one more step towards going electronic.

No Halloween costume this year? There are plenty of options for printing out a free halloween mask this year and with some creativity you can have an easy halloween costume for the cost of printing in color or black and white with creative coloring.  Then just take out some old clothing to match and bam a ‘free’ halloween costume.

This year I’ve found free political masks and even free star wars masks free for printing out, to get your own free version of a  halloween costume.

Shopping for under $2,500, New Sarah Palin Wardrobe

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

People were astounded by what the GOP paid for the wardrobe of Sarah Palin, so much that bloggers have been stressing that you can get all the outfits of Sarah Palin for under $2,500 the price paid for just her Valentino Vest.

Tips for better shopping

1. Never pay retail price – Retail is always marked 2 or 3 times above what it should be.

2. Use shops like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Century 21, Nordstrom Rack to get things after they hit the original pricey stores to find them upto 50% cheaper. Even overstock.com is a good place to shop

Shop at stylish, yet cheaper outlets

Obama’s wife is a frequent H&M shopper.  There are plenty of trends to be found there as well as Urban Outfitters, sometimes even Walmart.  Who needs to be wearing designer sock anyway?

Shopping on the Internet, The Internet Shopping Mall

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

The internet is a large shopping mall?  Yes in many ways it is as we spend less and less time in shopping malls and more time shopping on the internet.  There are plenty of reasons why shopping on the internet is often better than going to the mall.

Advantages Include:

1. Large variety of merchandise = shop from stores not even located in your area, or stores that are strictly online, which broadens your horizon.

2. Save on gas and time = often your internet purchases will have shipping cheaper than it costs to drive to the store,  plus all that time you saved from looking online.

3. Find the best deals = With sites like pricegrabber.com and ebay, it is getting easier to find the best deals online.

Often I find myself using the internet more and more to do my internet shopping simply as I mention for the selection, but if not that, mainly for the price.  Online I know I am getting a good deal as I compare among all other stores, where as when I purchase an item in a retail store I feel like it is more impulse than deal.

Places to check for deals:

1. Always check ebay.com to see if you can get a good shopping deal.

2. Check deal sites like pricegrabber.com and even amazon.com
