Amazon has a grocery store!  Somehow we missed this one, with Amazon even offering 40% off Grocery clearance.  Amazon coupons are also valid for most purchases.

What’s in the Amazon Grocery Store?

Mainly you’ll find higher priced merchandise like mushrooms for $40 frozen or even a 24 pack of Red Bull for $50 with free shipping (not a bad deal). Get a pack of 70 self serve special k cereal from Amazon Grocery… as you see it’s everything expensive or in large quantities.

You’ll find savings on Amazon Groceries at this link

Keep in mind also that if you spend $25 or more shipping is free.

MSN Pays Cashback to Search Users

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

More users are using MSN cashback as the users feel the economic burn.  More and more people may turn to the internet to earn cash, with services like MSN cashback as the economy gets worse.  MSN Cashback was at a 3.75% share of the total Live.com search traffic about 3 months ago, but already MSN Cashback has grown to nearly double the amount of users, contributing to 6.29% of MSN Live’s search traffic.

How MSN Cashback pays Cash back to users

MSN Cashback lists a range of products each rated by price and participation in addition to shopping category. If the item you purchase has the MSN Cashback logo you will earn cash rebates and rewards which will get credited to your account.  It’s not really free money but an easy way to save some cash on your purchases.

Free Online College Courses and Lectures

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Who wouldn’t want a free college education, and what better than free online college courses and lectures from some of the most respectable colleges around?  We’ve found that plenty of great colleges are giving online courses and lectures out completely for free!  Sure this won’t get you a degree, but thereis nothing wrong with taking a few free college courses online in your spare time.

University of Washington: Offers online college courses in subjects like: Greek mythology, American Revolution, Heroic Fantasy

Michigan State: Learn some free sign language

Penn State: Learn a free language with  free Swedish courses, and free Hungarian language lectures.

University of Pennsylvania: A list of over 25,000 books online.

One of the biggest free online college collaborations is the Sofia Project.

In the Sofia Project , some California colleges got together to offer free courses, now six total to anyone.

It’s always a great time to learn, and with the free resources available, no one should be able to say they can’t afford studying, even if it is only a freee online college course or lecture.

Sometimes the best part of college is the part after studying…

How to Save the Most at Grocery Stores with Coupons

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

You want to save at the grocery store, but saving the most at the grocery stores, doesn’t always mean buying right when you get a coupon. You’ll see a flurry of coupons at the beginning of the month, prompting you to buy right away.

But, in marketing, coupons are the first push to get you to buy their product.  However, most coupons have a longer expiration date.  I’d wait a few weeks on your coupon, and save coupons for grocery items you normally don’t purchase.  Now after it’s a couple weeks, or the coupon is near expiration, check the weekly paper.  Many of these items will have special sales in the next wave of discounting.  However, if you have saved your coupons, you can use your coupon on top of the discounts for super savings, getting most grocery store items with your coupons for net to nothing.

Where to Find Grocery Store Coupons?

If you don’t get a Sunday newspaper, a great place, at least for the United States to look, is Valpack.com.  They usually publish coupons by mail, but I use it for the $1 off coupon to Biggby coffee.  It makes the $1.89 coffee only $.89 which I’m actually drinking as I write this post.
