How To Exchange Secret Santa Names Online

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

You want to randomize the secret Santa name selection online and exchange names online without getting together. The site Elfster lets you create your own secret Santa name exchange system in minutes.

I remember having to get together to draw names, which makes it rather annoying.  You could randomize the process using sort of name randomizer, but then you couldn’t take advantage of all the features that Elfster offers.

Features of Elfster
1) Setup the party.  You can choose the date, invite the people, etc.
2) Setup some gift guidelines.  What kind of gifts, how much should be spent.
3) Invite members to exchange gifts.  Invite via facebook or email.
4) Elfster will automatically draw names and email each member.

So basically Elfter will exchange Secret Santa Names for you online, help you setup the party, and email each member.

Using the Internet is Good of the Brain, Reasons to Use the Internet

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

Why you should use the internet more often? Research shows that when you use the internet it is good for your brain.  What happens is, when your use the Internet you are enganging in complicated neurological activity that can help keep your mind fit and sharp. Of course we can’t use this study to prove to everyone that the Internet isn’t just a time waster (because so much of it is), but next time someone says to get off the internet because it is rotting your brain, you can counteract and say, no I’m actually engaging in complicated neurological activitiy,

(However that doesn’t usually fly when you are just watching YouTube videos.) But, if you bust out the Sudoku or any other brain busters, or just write blogs you truly are keeping your brain fit.
