How to Create a Google Friendly Website

Google can be your key to getting traffic, and being Google Friendly has it’s definate advantages for any website.  Before you create any website, it is important to make sure that your blogging website is Google Friendly.  Google itself has already create a how to guide on creating a google friendly website, but to make things easier, we will cover a few basic principles on making your website Google Friendly.

Avoid Creating an Unfriendly Google Website

1. Don’t hide text or links

2. Avoid keyword stuffing.  Though we all do it to an extend, focusing on content is also important.

3. Stay away from link schemes

4. Stay away from java redirects.  Don’t redirect visitors because Google won’t follow along.

Letting Google Index your “Friendly” Website

Google’s official help page has a number of strategies including uploading a sitemap, and even creating Video content.  Images are sure to help as well.

How to Build iPhone Speakers, Speakers for iPhone Built Simple

Things are better done yourself, and so are speakers for you iPhone with a newly released guide on how to build your own iPhone with simple easy instructions.  We’ve seen the iPhone speakers in the store and they are outright expensive!  $70 for some crappy speakers that are probably worse that the ones in my tv set?

The instructables guide was created after the owner of a pair of iPhone speakers had had it, after spending 50 quid on a pair of lousy speakers.   11 steps later and quite a few materials and you’ve got yourself one nicely built set of iPhone speakers.

Materials Needed:

1 X amplifier (15 year old pioneer) you can buy really cheap amps from maplin for a few quid
1 X 240v – 12v power supply which came from a knackered LCD monitor
1 X 13cm speaker came from an old Renault 19
2 X tweeters came from the same old renault
2 X crossovers from my old VW Polo hifi system
1 X sealed lead acid battery which came from my house alarm(please don’t burgle me!)
assorted wire(from off the floor)
MDF 12mm is all I had
Isopon filler (yanks call it Bondo)
glue, nails and white gloss paint
Apple universal dock and remote

How to Add Facebook Chat to Pidgin

Adding Facebook chat to pidgin instantly puts you in communication with all of your friends.  If Facebook ever develops their own chat application it could be an aim killer.  Facebook Chat for Pidgin keeps you always logged into facebook and gives you popup windows for facebook, instead of having to click back to facebook to write messages.

How to Add Facebook Chat to Pidgin

1. First download pidgin (a multi application chat program, aim, msn, yahoo all in one)

2. Visit the Google Api Code page and download facebookchat 1.35 exe for windows users.

3. Make sure Pidgin is not running. Install the Facebook Chat exe.

4. Start Pidgin and add a new account to pidgin.  You should now see Facebook chat.  Username is the email you use to log into facebook.

How to Use Propeller Groups for More Traffic

If you’ve been social submitting with Propeller great job, but did you know you can gain additional traffic using Propeller Groups?  That’s right Propeller has added a groups option for submitting news to appear in special groups.  Groups range from categories like Obama and McCain, to cooking recipes, and stay at home moms.

How to Use Propeller Groups for More Traffic

1. Sign up for Propeller (Propeller.com)

2.  Add groups to your account by using search and on the left filter, clicking groups.

3. Join groups

4. Social submit one of your posts to Propeller.

5. View the post that has been submitting in propeller and click send to groups.
