Get Paid Reviewing Software, Software Judge

Sunday, March 2nd, 2008

Are you really good at reviewing things?  What about software?  Software Judge dot com pays users for reviewing software. You get $50 per software review.

Software Judge says that “Obviously, your review has to be damn good for us to pay you fifty bucks and not every reviewer is going to get that much for a single review. However, you get paid at least a buck for any review published here. Ten reviews – ten bucks. Twenty reviews – twenty bucks. You do the math. The better your work, the more money you get for writing fewer reviews.”

On the positive side, you don’t need a webpage to start reviewing.  Unlike services like PayPerPost where reviews are paid based on the traffic your website receives, Software Judge pays based on the quality of your review.

Make sure of course to heed by Software Judge’s rules “Don’t be stupid. Don’t review software that you never tried. Don’t say software is good, if it’s bad. Don’t try to write only positive reviews. And never, never do anything that’ll piss us off.”

Make Money Naming Domain Names, Picky Domains

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Get paid just for suggesting domain names? Picky Domains offers you $12.50 if the domain you mentioned gets registered. Picky Domains gets half the cash, you get the other half. Not a bad deal.

From Picky Domains site: “If you are good at coming up with cool domain names, go ahead and register with us. If your domain name suggestion is registered, you’ll get 50% of the fee ($25) paid to you via PayPal.”

I haven’t tried out Picky Domains yet, but if you mention their website on your blog, you can use their service free, for one time. Might be worth it since I’ve spent hours just trying to come up with my own domain name. Think you can do better? Then sign up with PickyDomains.com

Get Paid Receiving Phone Calls: Brring free call forwarding

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

What if you got paid every time someone called you?  Brring is a free call forwarding service that you get paid for receiving phone calls from your free call forwarding number.  Most numbers are even in the same area code.

How it works
You sign up for Brring.  They give you a free number that forwards calls to your home number.  Every time someone calls this number they will be played a short ad.  Each time this ad is played from an incoming call, you receive 5 cents, though im assuming the rate is more going to be around 10 cents.  Sounds overall quite annoying, yet the ads are only 10 seconds long.  10 seconds, 5 cents, is it worth it?

4 Ways to Earn with Brring
1. Earn 75¢ every time you complete a profile to help choose the messages your friends like best.  2. Earn $1 every time you get a friend to join Brring!. 3. Earn 5¢ each time you successfully share your new Brring! number. 4. Every time you get a call on your Brring! number you earn 5¢.

Jobs to Avoid: What Jobs to Avoid

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

I’ve been doing almost a series on Jobs to avoid, put simply jobs that I come across that should avoided. This Job to Avoid came via email. A few reasons why you should avoid jobs like these:
1. Too good to be true. 19 million dollar transaction with a stranger?
2. Qualifications. What qualifies me to do this transaction? Nothing.
3. Ilegal. Never ever ever money launder. Basically you’ll be putting money in your account and wiring it to other bank accounts.

Partnership/Assistance!
Greetings of the day to you, although you may be skeptical receiving this email as we have not met before, I am Mr.
Lile Song,(Deputy executive Director and Chief Financial Officer) of the Hang Seng Bank Ltd.

Nevertheless I have a business proposition involving the sum of $19,500,000.00usd in my bank which I know will be of mutual benefit to both of us, and I believe we can handle together, once we have a common understanding and mutual cooperation in the execution of the modalities.
Should you be interested, please forward the following to me:

1.Full names,
2.Occupation,
3.Private phone number,
4.Current residential address.
