Reasons Why Sponsored Tweets are Better Than Sponsored Posts
With Sponsored Posts you always had the worry that you could lose your pagerank because Google is not the biggest fan of people who use PayPerPost. I ran into this problem in the past after writing a few PayPerPost posts.

Finally you have a way tp monetize that twitter feed you have without worrying about any penalties. Too bad I’ve not pushed myself to actually start tweeting. Maybe now is my chance?

To start making money with Twitter and Tweeting just visit SponsoredTweets.com

Some ads that I’ve found to be annoying more than others are internet audio ads. These audio ads open entering the website disrupt music, peace of quiet and anything else by playing audio announcing that you’ve won a free xbox or a free wii or whatever else, usually in a very loud voice that keeps repeating the longer you stay on the webpage.

Result of these annoying audios ads? Less people will want to visit your website, which could mean a loss of readers, loyal visitors, or even bad comments about your site.

There are services that will offer pay per view audio ads, but is it really worth it?

What the pre pop method is, is quite simple. You pre populate the user fields, such as zip code and email address without the user having to enter any information. The easier it is for a user to sign up for CPA offers, the more users that are going to click on the ok link making you additional income.

Guaher created a video explaining the pre pop for CPA offers and how some make $300 a day using this method.

Using Infolinks was a decision to switch from Chitika and Kontera after recieving low ECPM (earnings per thousand). While Infolinks has paid me more on average, it hasn’t come without it’s share of problems. To start with the good stuff, Infolinks does pay more per click, they take I believe about 20% of your pay which is relatively better than most. Unlike Chitika, Infolinks also pays you for international clicks, something that Chitika figures out at the end of the month and doesn’t pay you for. Kontera was always a low performer for me, averaging about 2 cents a click making it almost not even worth it.

To the bad part of Infolinks… I am not sure if the staff is even writing English as a first language due to the many mistakes I’ve recieved in some follow up emails. It takes forever for Infolinks to respond to you and I still haven’t gotten my tax forms something that should have been mailed to me a month ago. The response of Infolinks? We will send it early March. March?! By law that is supposed to be sent by February 15th. In any case, I ended up just calculating myself the total that they paid me to figure out what I owe for taxes.

Should you use infolinks? Give it a shot, it’s worked well for some websites and not so well for others, it all depends on your website’s niche.

Anyone who uses Google Adsense wants to get the highest paid click rates, but the biggest question is how do you get better paid ad clicks rather than those measly 5 to 10 cent clicks?

How I Get the Best Amount of Click
The thing to keep in mind is the fact that different topics pay differently. The more demand and competition their is for a given keyword on Google Adwords, will lead to a higher payout rate for Google Adsense users. Your Google Adsense ads are of course determined by the topic of your blog and what you write.

If you write about animals in the wild, you’ll probably learn less than if you write about doctors in New York. More demand = higher pay.

How To Find the Highest Paid Keywords?
Besides for using a list I wrote earlier describing the highest paid Google Adsense topics (link) we can use the Google Adwords tool to discover this as well.

Using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool
Another great tool is the Google Adwords Tool for finding the highest paid Adsense keywords is simply using the Google adwords tool. Normally this is used for Adwords ad purchasers, but on the other hand it works great for adwords too. Use this tool to discover how popular a keyword is and which keywords are being bid on the most. Higher competition usually means higher paid Adsense ads.

You’ll find the Google Adsense Tool via this link

Lately I noticed that I wasn’t properly using good placement for my google Link unit Text ads, and was therefore not earning much from them. For better placement of google Text ads I’ve noticed a few things.

1) Put your google Link unit text ads next to other links. Good placement locations include: Right above the first post of your blog. Right above your comments section. As an addition to your sidebar. In your footer.

2) While you only can use 3 Google text and image ads, you can also use 3 Link unit ads. Take advantage of this and use up your extra space.

How to create a Link unit Ad
Simply click Adsense Setup, then Adsense for Content, then Select Link unit.

Use these wisely as they could help increase your income significantly.

The benefits of Intext Text Link Ads
The biggest benefit of Intext is thefact that ads don’t stick out. They don’t pop up when a user puts their mouse over the ad. This means yes ads looks look like normal links though this can be a bit confusing for a user.

Keys to Using Intext Text Link Ads
The key is to making sure you use advertisers who are relevant to your site. Maybe you would have used these advertisers anyway? You will have ful control over the ads you display and the advertisers you use.

InLinks has plugins for Wordpress, Movable Type and Durpal.

With this blog I have occasionally used affiliate marketing to increase revenue on this blog. Affliate marketing in my experience, can be both better and worse than payperclick marketing.

Some things to ask yourself when choosing affliate marketing:

1. Is the product related to your blog? One of the best ways to take advantage of affliate marketing is to relate it to a blog post. If you write about webhosting, what better than touse the affiliate marketing link to a webhost.

2. Will I make more with affliate marketing? This depends. I would recommend using affliate marketing links where you can, say when you recommend a good product and linking to that product on amazon, but as far replacing say that square 250×250 ad on your blog with an affliate only ad, I would recommend against it.

Using Affliate Marketing takes more time signing up for each link, but it can be profitable. If you can link related affliating marketing links to your posts, you can generate substantial additional income. Currently I have only done minimal affliate marketing, but even I would most liely benefit from using more affliate marketing links.

With a bad economy here, is the bad economy reducing your Google Adsense earnings? Recently I’ve noticed a dip in my Google Adsense earnings shortly after the 700 billion dollar bailout of the US government. Coincidence or not, Google is not telling us what their cut percentage wise is. Could Google take a higher cut to balance lessening income revenue?

The Exchange Rate Factor

Since Google Adsense usually converts from dollars. A weak US Dollar can mean a decrease in earnings for any other currency.

The Rate of Publisher Sign ups

The more competition you have, the chances are that you might earn less. With more and more adsense publishers, that means even more advertising space is available for advertisers which could reduce the average earnings rate for publishers. As an example: You have one apple pie, but instead of 5 people you now have to share the pie with 15 people, which means less pie for you.

Your Website Topic

The biggest factor seems to be the topic you write about. Outside influences, such as strikes, demand, and so forth can have a big impact on your earnings. I’ve noticed some days a decrease in earnings per thousand on some websites, while increase in others.

We’ve had our best start for a month of Blogging with October, which last year in October was the first time we earned 4 figures from blogging in one month. Now we had a good start with $175 yesterday, hoping that this rest of the month will run just as well.

October isn’t better always because of traffic, rather it’s the extra money that is put into advertising dollars. I’ve noticed higher ecpm (earnings per thousand) in the last few days than most of the last few months. Of course this all depends what the focus of your website is about. If you write about lawyer and doctor information you’ll probably get big money. But writing about say Germany, might yield a lot less money.

So enjoy this month of October and though the winter might be coming in, keeping you inside more, hopefully you can use the time to make more money than ever before!
