The big three auto manufacturers in the USA said it couldn’t be done. Now the Western World is asking why they can’t have their own Tato Nano type cars?

The four-seater Nano travels 100 kilometers on 4.2 liters of fuel, getting 55.5 miles per gallon. Those who have test driven the car say it does feel like a real car and not just another golf cart. The Nano has been released at a low price of around $2000 USD per car.

In the future they plan to bring the Indian Tato Nano to Europe and the USA, for a slightly higher price since they have to retool it to meet safety standards, and could come out as early as next year.

Though this seems like a race to the bottom, the Tato Nano is something that probably many people would buy. It’s a cheap alternative to getting a scooter and it will get you around town.

With economic times getting hard, some families have been looking for the cheapest meal ideas to make. If you are living above your means, an easy way to start is in the meals you cook. You can easily eat more healthy and at the same time, eat cheaper.

My Cheapest Meal Ideas to Cook
Ramen Stir Fry – Take two packs of ramen noodles, green pepper, onion, 3 eggs, 2T roasted peanuts, stir-fry seasoning. Scramble the 3 eggs, boil the ramen noodles then mix it in. Add in some chopped up pepper and green pepper, the roasted peanuts, and bam you’ve got some stir fry.

Fried Rice – Take rice, frozen peas, 2 eggs, onion, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger. Boil the rice like usual until it is soft andd white and ready to eat. Scramble 2 eggs. Mix in the rice and the eggs in a pan. Add in a litttle garlic the peas and some ginger for extra taste. Anything cooked with rice ends up being very cheap.

Pasta Spaghetti – Nothing gets cheaper than a nice Spaghetti meal. Just make sure to buy the noodles seperate in their own box and for the sauce I just use parmasean cheese with a little brocoli.

Easy Burritos – Just buy some refried beans, black beans, and a little bit of lettuce and tomato. Sometimes I even add in rice in there for added taste and cheapness.

I haven’t followed any of these cheapest meal ideas in awhile, but in college these were some of my favorite. Back when I lived on an income of $500 for rent, food, and entertainment, we had to cut corners, which meant eating a lot of rice, and plenty of peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches, yum.

Back in 2004 Toshiba had announced that it was producing it’s own Fuel Powered Laptop, somehting that really didn’t really hit the market. Now the talk is laptops and mp3 players powered by small fuel cells. In December 2008, Panasonic made promises of a fuel cell that can power a laptop for 20 hours on a cup of methanol.

PolyFuel has been working with a prototype Lenovo T40 to use direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) for power. They have laptops that run up to 10 hours on conservative power and energy, but would these fuel cells let us run our laptops for an entire day without plugging in?

The new fuel cell can produce an average power output of 10 W, with a maximum output of 20 W, which can be sustained continuously for 20 hours on 200 cc of fuel.

I’ve been praying for the moment my laptop would die. It sounds bad, but it was really getting on my nerves. Since it was still a good laptop I let it keep on living. Recently cause of my new dead laptop? Unknown. Won’t start up and just remains frozen at the bootup screen. Most people would not be excited about a dead laptop. That would mean running out and getting, gasp, a new one. Thankfully, if you can be happy with a Netbook, they can be had as little as $240 USD without a problem.

My laptop of choice? I’m considernig the Acer Aspire One. They’ve come down significantly in price. The battery life and the weight limit seem more than enough.

One of the biggest challenges while traveling is meeting people day after day to continually build new friendships or risk spending Saturday night in a new city alone on your laptop. Since traveling I’ve fin that the easiest way to meet people requires a few persnal characteristic changes. Not only wiill meeting people build your confidence but improve your life i.e. new contact, new friends, and a better outlook on life.

How to Meet People Anywhere
1. Be fearless – Do not be afraid to talk anyone. Fear is your own worst enemy. In the process of meeting new people you will get rejected once in awhile, but that’s perfectly ok.
2. Good Conversation Starters – One of the best ways to break into anyone’s life is to nonthreatinly approach them, keep a little distance, and just comment and add your own input. Build the conversation from there.
3. Pull the Trigger – I used to just let conversations end and never see people again. This is not the way to go. Rather, invite them to something say an upcoming event, make sure to ask for their phone number, and in the worst case get their full name to add them on acebook.

Places to Meet People
1. Anywhere – there are people lurking everywhere. Plenty of new conversations can be had everyday with anyone. The difference is getting these people beyond the Hello point and into the lets see each other later step.
2. Coffee shops, libraries – These are places where people are calmed, collective and more likely to engage in conversation.

Why Meet New People
New people provide new contacts and opportunities. Most people find their future wife or husband through friends, as well as many new jobs are found just through friends. The bigger the network of people you can create, the more you will be able to take advantage f the oppotunirites out there.

Since the start of the recession I have noticed a bit of a decrease in my income, but as far as spending goes, this has been one of the best times to spend money. With prices falling like a rock in property and even the price of internet ad campaigns going down, there is no reason you can’t make money in a depression/recession/economic downturn.

Has the Recession Decreased My Spending?
Overall the recession has not decreased my spending level, in fact I’ve been spending more, taking advantage of all the great deals a recession has to offer.

Warren Buffet said, “Be fearful when everyone else is greedy and greedy when everyone else is fearful.”

Obama Brings the Nation Out of Debt
What other president gets $170 million to spend for an inauguration bash? What other new president is able to generate record sales just with images of himself? Bloggers around the world are blogging about Obama, everyone seems to ready to make t-shirts, shoes, hats, and even President lager in Kenya nicknamed Obama beer.

Can one man actually add new money into the economy just with his own appearance?
