Monday, September 1st, 2008

The debate has always been which search engine has the best results making it the best? Google has the best results? Yahoo has the best? Or maybe it’s Cuil the new search from former Google employees.

The news sourceDMNews, found that both MSN and Google produced the most relevant search results in a study released by search marketing firm IntraLink. When scored, MSN had a rank of 19 out of 25 to rank first in relevancy of search results while Google was ranked second with a score of 18. Yahoo and AOL trailed at 13 percent relevancy score and Ask.com earned a score of 11.

Also, IntraLink found that Google, AOL and MSN had the “freshest content,” while Ask.com showed the oldest information, and concluded that Google performed better than any other search engine on delivering up to date information.

4 Free Wordpress MySQL Hosting Solutions

Friday, March 21st, 2008

The following 4 hosts offer free wordpress mysql hosting without any popup ads.  Keep in mind that most free worpdress mysql hosting solutions are limited on bandwidth, so if you have a highly trafficked website, you are most likely better off purchasing hosting with a reliable server.

Award Space: I just signed up for award space today. The give you 5000 MB of bandwidth (not much), DiskSpace: 200 MB, and of course Mysql. They also give u a free subdomain that looks a bit like yousite.byethost11.com

Bytehost: 20000 MB – 30000 MB of bandwidth, (a decent size), no forced ads, 100 mbs of diskspace and of course a free mysql.

Webmaster Networks: Monthly Bandwidth: 1000 MB transfer per month, Mysql, no foced ads.

Free Domain Site: This might be the best option yet, with unmetered monthly usage, 1000 mbs of diskspace, and of course no banner ads.

Overall I’d choose free domain site with its unmetered usage for my free wordpress mysql hosting, but I can’t guarantee how fast any of these servers are even going to be.
