A nice little wordpress plugin for you wordpress users out there, this new little ad plugin is perfect for those who need to manage their ads on their wordpress plugin that aren’t run by any ad programs, but rather by people paying to have their ad on your site monthly.

Features include:

• One or two column ad display, and support through template tags to implement your own unconventional design.
• Show as many ads as you want, and in either manual or random order
• Keep track of how many times an ad is clicked
• When creating a new ad, you don’t have to calculate the end date yourself. Just input how many days you wish the ad to run for, and the correct date will be applied. The ad will be automatically taken down when the time comes.
• When an ad run is over, the record is archived on the Inactive ads screen, so you can check on the final click count, or revive the ad for another run.

When the day comes that you can switch off of Google or any other ad network, this is a great place to turn.  Selling your own ads can reduce the uncertainty in the amount of cash you receive each week.  Rather it enables you to predict your earnings each month which doesn’t fluctuate like relying on clicks can.

Everyday I check my moderated wordpress comments to find tons of SPAM. The goal of wordpress spammers seems to be, let’s see how much spam we can stuff in one comment.  If you don’t like looking over hundreds of spam comments everyday, it’s time to block them.   There are already plenty of plug ins allowing you to block wordpress spam allowing you to let those good comments in and keep the spam comments out.

The longest Spam Comments ever?
I can’t say I’ve been keeping track, but I’ve gotten comments with over 100 links.  Some spam commenters are getting smarter and smarter, but as long as you monitor all your comments you should be able to block even the sneakiest spam commenter.
