I am convinced that you can find a free Wifi signal in almost any signal. Of course I am also the person that opens up their laptop walking around trying to find a free wifi signal whenever I travel to a new city. So many people leave their internet signal open that it leaves people like me open to taking their wifi singal and using it for free.

However, my method of walking around until I find a signal near a cafe isn’t for everyone. There are websites that publish listings of free wifi signals so you can find one without the random searching.

Websites like Jwire help you find signals across the globe that have been known to be completely free.

Reasons to Travel Across the World

Not everyone can handle traveling across the world. In fact many have many reasons why they shouldn’t do it at all. These could be financial reasons, loss of comfort, or even just general fear about what is out there in the world.

I’ve taken long journeys across the world mainly to Europe, North America, and South America with my own personal reasons.

Reasons I travel across the world
1. Change of pace – I travel the world for the sense of adventure and the new experiences that await me at every turn.
2. Meet New People – I’ve developed friends from all aross the globe, that after my travels, give me a new reason to come visit them all.
3. Become More Open – I’ve lost racisms I had when I was younger by traveling and getting to meet people from all sorts of backgrounds and races. Traveling helps you open up and accept people from all cultures.
4. A Passion – Traveling becomes sort of a lifestyle after awhile. It takes some getting used to, but it can be one of the best things you ever do in your life.

So while many of the reasons many of you travel is just for a holiday, why not consider making it part of your lifestyle? If you are ever feeling bored with life, depressed, or just looking for something new, just hit the road and you will find plenty of reasons to live. With the way traveling has become easier than ever, there is no reason why you shouldn’t travel!

Yahoo answers is a great way to get additional blog traffic, but what have been some of the funniest yahoo answer responses? Yahoo answers should have made a funniest responses page, but unfortunately we have to rely on websites like the huffington post (click to see a slideshow) to find the best and let us know.

Another website called Yahoo Answer fail goes through and lists all the funniest responses to various yahoo answers posts.

However, keep in mind that many of the responses posted here are not really and actually a bit more disgusting, related mainly with sick jokes and sexual activities.

Earning Money from Surveys Online

Many people have tried to supplement their income by earning extra money from surveys. Some places I’ve used to earn money from surveys online include places like surveyspot, and other exclusive surveys. While these surveys have paid directly to my mailbox, even filling the surveys out as fast as I could, I rarely could earn more than $6 an hour.

This could be a good idea for people from third world countries, though it would defeat the entire purpose of the surveys. Surveys are meant to have honest answers from people from the actual target market they are looking for. However with people from third world countries actually changing their ip and joining in on the survey, do they actually give accurate results?

In any case give a website like surveyspot.com a try and see for yourself if this could be a way for extra income.

Yahoo Provides Free Wifi in Times Square

Free wifi is now being provided in Times Square for free. Yahoo has decided to provide free wifi all throughout the area of times square much like the move how Google was providing free wifi in California.

Will this be the new trend? Providing free wifi to cities in attempt to get more people to use their browser? Who knows.

Currently only Google has only a citywide network in Mountain View.

Flying Standby With Delta Airlines

Flying standby can be worthwhile but it comes with it’s consequences too. This isn’t only with Delta Airlines but any airlines that you try flying standby with.

When flying standby keep in mind that you can’t just tell the airline you want to fly standby, you have to fly via a buddy pass, as a dependent, or work for an airline with benefits.

The positives of flying Standby with Delta
1. Cheaper flights
2. Change flights with no fees

The Negatives of flying standby
1. No guarantees with flights.
2. Getting stuck in an unwanted destination

Overall if you work by the internet and are flexible, flying standby can be worthwhile since it leaves you flexible to explore the places you want.

Microsoft invented a new piece of equipment called Cofee that has the ability to hack right into your computer with no questions asked. Microsoft Cofee however has been given to law enforcement officials for free to help them get passed any security measures to inspect a computer fully. Cofee will allow cops to analyze all the bits of data on any computer it is plugged into.

Microsoft Cofee is simply a usb stick that gets plugged into a computer to hack it to bits. Already 2,000 officers in 15 countries are using it.

Microsoft has had an operating system out since the 80s and have had a long history involving their operating system. As you watch through time as Microsoft has developed in their operating system, you can see too how the computer hardware has evolved as well. We went from Microsoft dos, a very basic operating system, to a visual Microsoft operating system with Microsoft 1.0. Then the ever popular Windows 3.1 to the now superior Windows 7. While things haven’t changed dramatically since Windows 95, regarding the look of the operating system, the technology in the way we communicate has changed dramatically.

There are a couple youtube videos out there that timeline the entire way that Microsoft has evolved from beginning to current day.

Portable Visual Language Translator

What about a translator that can translate languages and send it back to you as text? New glasses will translate languages and read the translation in your language as text on a screen. As switched.com wrote about the language translator “the microphone picks up the conversation, and then transmits it to a small computer around the wearer’s waist. The computer sends the data to a server which does the actual translating. The freshly baked translation then comes back and is displayed as text on the retinal-display. ”

Unfortunately this system really isn’t fast enough to translate languages on the fly. You’ll probably have to ask the person to speak slower. Still this is a step in the right direction and probably going to have all of us looking goofy when we travel in the near future.
