It has always been a problem when I have wanted to receive incoming sms messages from international friends. Usually it would be very expensive. With txtbe.com you get the chance to make both free outgoing and receive free incoming SMS messages. How does it work?
You need a cell phone
To use this service you should already have a cell phone capable of receiving SMS messages. When signing up you give them your number and they send the confirmation ode to that number.
All setup?
Here is the tricky part. Send your friend an sms using txtbe.com they should save that sms message. Whenever they reply to it they will only pay local sms fees and not international. The sms will unfortunately not go to your phone, rather to your email address.
