I literally ran into Talkster.com yesterday when surfing the net. The service is great and one of the most unique ideas I’ve seen for making free Global Phone Calls for free with Talkster.com.

Here is how it give you free international calls:
You type in your number and the number you want to reach. It then generates a local number for both you and your friend to call. Say you live in the USA and want a way to call your friend in Germany from your home phone. The service will generate a local US Number that when dialed, calls your friend in Germany. At the same time, it will also generate a number for your friend in Germany to call you.

The Catch of Free Global Phone Calls?
You have to dial your friend from the telephone you entered. It won’t work from another number.

A Unique way to use Talkster via Your Cell Phone.
Step 1
Send the SMS to Talkster at this phone number:
+447624802492
Send it in this format:
{your name} {your friend’s phone number in international format} {your friend’s name}
Example – If John wants to call Jane at 12125551212, the SMS would look like this:
John 12125551212 Jane
Step 2
