The newest version of skype now offers skypecasts, these are public talk sessions where you can participate in a voip conversation. If you were ever feeling bored or lonely, this offers a place to talk to unique people from around the globe. If you don’t like the current skypecasts, you can create your own and wait for people to join.

What kind of Skypecasts are there?
It seems currently many of the skypecasts are arabic related. One guy is even willing to teach you his language. This may be a great place to practice a language. Today I created a skypecast called “Sprech mit mir” (Speak with me), for speaking the German language. Whatever you want to talk about, just create a skypecast and just wait for whatever interesting person to join.
