Getting a Magic Jack won’t dig into your wallet anymore than other services like Vonage. It costs $39.99 which includes the software and the USB plug in for direct connection into your computer. The software included with Magic Jack will only work when the USB device is plugged in. It currently won’t work with a microphone and headset. Using the device will allow you to make free calls, which could come in handy on your next business trip.
