FlashPhone started out as a service to offer free voip calls to multiple destinations world wide, but after discovering the huge costs it would have to pay out in order to continue offering free voip calls, it dropped the option, make it a FlashPhone enabled softphone, meaning it operated as a phone, but you had to input the protocals for making voip calls.

FlashPhone has once again decided to take up on the option of providing free voip calls worldwide.   Free Destinations currently include: Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg), Cyprus, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland landlines and China.

*I’ve also heard a rumor that you can make one minute calls to anywhere.  Might be a great way to test out the quality of FlashPhone before investing money.
