Alright so we’ve written enough about voip, but some have asked me, what exactly my voip setup looks like. I’ve got an incoming and outgoing calls for free using a voip caller ID hack and signing up for a free incoming US number.
1. I use X-lite softphone. Get it here (you need x-lite in order to use the free number from free digits)
2. I have a free incoming US number from freedigits. Sign up here
3. For outgoing calls I use JustVoip.com (free calls internationally).
4. To get my incoming number to show up on the caller ID in JustVoip.com, (so it doesn’t show up as unavailable, I used this hack.
