Before you start using voip, there are a few requirements usually needed, that must be met before using voip.

First Requirement for Voip: Speed

You have to have an internet connection fast enough for handling a voip connection.   You also need a reliable connection.   A dropped internet connection means your voip call gets dropped completely.

Second Requirement for Voip: Equipment

You’ll need a reliable headset and microphone to start using voip.  Any voip enabled usb phones or wireless phones don’t require them, but usually any pc will.

Third Requirement: A Proper Voip Company

Of course you need the right company for making calls over the internet.  The easiest solution, though also costs a penny or two is Skype.  Software is easy to setup and supported by mobile phones, pcs, mac.  For free calling, try a company like JustVoip.com.  The offer free calls and are easy to use.
