Phone Tag is a new transciption service that will make voicemails a lot easier to listen to. Rather than having to actually listen to those voicemails, have them transcribed into text so you can read them much faster.
Currently Phone Tag is giving away a month for free of their services. If you are a casual voicemail user, Phone Tag costs only $10 per month for 40 voicemails per month.
Uses for voicemail to Text? For those who want to save time, I don’t see any better way. It takes time logging into voicemail and listening to every single message. They also send you an attachment of the voicemail message if you really want to hear it. So far from the reviews I’ve read, Phone Tag, usually gets the message pretty much exact.
To get started visit http://phonetag.com/ (those who signup get 30 days free)
Ibibo is a new voip service offering free calls to India for a limited time. Thankfully we discovered a little hack so you can make as many free calls to India as you want. This little tidbit comes from freevoipsolutions in order to break Ibibo’s ten minute call limit.
To get started, visit http://imobile.ibibo.com/.
Once and awhile we’ve found a free voip call within an indian city for free, but India as a whole has varying voip call rates. As we’ve been asked plenty of times concerning where the cheapest voip rate is, we’ve finally found the cheapest solution for making calls to India. It also happens to be a betamax company.
SMSDiscount is currently offering voip calls to India for only 4.8 US cents per minute. Even cheaper however is Tringme which offers a very low 3.99 US cents per minute.
We however, like SMSDiscount better because of it’s softphone support. Here is the configuration for using SMSDiscount smart phone:
SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.smsdiscount.com
Proxy server : sip.smsdiscount.com
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your smsdiscount username
Password : your smsdiscount password
Display name/number : your smsdiscount username or voipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.smsdiscount.com
Summer is one of the worst times to write about voip news… why? There isn’t any! We notice that summer is when we pick our brains for some bit of news or something just to post here, but honestly if it isn’t worth posting we won’t post it. Who wants to read that trash, I mean our subscribers want to read relevant information, not stuff.
Even this post is a bit much… In any case we just wanted to give everyone a heads up, we aren’t dead, and hopefully we’ll have some more free voip stuff tommorow!
We’ve had cheap voip options for quite awhile, with many independent voip companies even offering you a free voip incoming number, sometimes even your existing home number. However, cable and internet companies are finding it easy to offer all in packages that are considerable more expensive than independent voip companies.
The Cable companies offer plans such as TV, Digital Phone, and Cable all in one package, with the phone service being considerable cheaper than existing phone line service. What consumer’s don’t usually know is that this so called “deal” is really a trick.
Some companies charge as much as $30 a month from digital service, when you could just T-Mobile at home, which cost only a measily $10 per month. Advice? Check out all your options first. You no longer have to stick with your phone company to digital phone service. You can get service from anyone world wide. If you wanted your incoming home phone number could even be a UK number even though you live in the US.
No longer are we restricted by boundaries, and neither should you be limited by your phone company!
Looking for an alternative besides voip calling with skype? Here are ton of the many free voip software programs that help make voip calling easy. Why choose Skype when there are so many alternatives?
Yet another ad based voip service that has recently launched is Plumble. Plumble is current in it’s beta mode with restricted access to beta members, however, it is possible to make free international calls with Plumble without signing up.
Steps to make free international calls with Plumble
1) Dial 818-742-0110 (Number from the US)
2) Listen to various short ads.
3) Dial your free call
4) Keep in mind that at the moment you can only call the USA and Canada for free, which should include mobile phones.
A small surprise from a voip provider, they are giving free voip calls to Bangladesh India landline phones for a short limited time.
LowRateVoip has added Bangladesh landlines phones to their list of free destinations for voip calls.
In order to get the free calls, we recommend purchasing the minimum amount of calling credit possible. As I’ve experience with such call providers as JustVoip.com this usually gives you 180 days of free calling days.
Visit LowRateVoip.com
