Search Blogs For Fresh Free Content

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

Each day I have to write my blogs, and really no one has 365 days of fresh content. Many writers won’t admit that lots of their blog’s content comes actually from other blogs, but creatively. While it is not that legal to just straight up steal a blog’s content, many writers rewrite the content of other blogs that are related to the topic they want to write about. However, it make this original, writers give a fresh perspective.

To make this easier to understand, if I want to write about something, but I don’t have the information I’ll compile information from multiple blogs and write it in a unique way.

Usually I use google.com/blogsearch to search blogs for what content I want to write about. This usually seems to work better than just a standard google search. Other methods I use include using news.yahoo.com or even news.google.com.

Writing Original Content vs Rewriting Content

Friday, September 4th, 2009

How many blogs actually have original content with new thoughts and ideas vs just rewriting other people content and ideas. In school many of us rather than writing our own original content took information from multiple books and internet sources and just rewrote them. Writing original content was hard enough because who really was an expertise on topics like history in high school?

When it comes to blogging, there are those with original content, those that actually report new information, vs those who just rewrite the information that is already out there. While you might think original content is often the best way to go about writing your blog, sometimes rewriting works better.

Rewriting Original Content
Blogs can be used to provide more specific information like a blog only about laptop computers. Basically you would be compliling information across the web. However if you just straight copy information from other blogs that leads to legal issues. If you rewrite information or present it in a new way, such as commonly known facts and writing about those, then the content is much more original. Sometimes I take information and rewrite it to be funny, making it fit into creative liscenses.

No blogger can be expected to go to all the different events around the world, cover all the news storys, etc. Sometimes all a blogger can do is rewrite content. While I don’t believe in straight up copying information, I do believe in providing sources whenever they ar eused. Besides, Google can give you some extra points for providing links.
