How to Become Richer By Moving

Friday, June 26th, 2009

One of the biggest factors in the cost of living is where we live. Simply just be moving can we increase our standard of living. Living in New York for instance will cost up to 10 times more than living in Buenos Aires. Living in Michigan will cost far less for the same sized house as New York City. If you work online you have the luxury to become richer just by moving locations.

When I travel for instance I tend to spend more time in cheap places and less time in expensive places. Why? I can live so much better for less in cheaper countries. My hostel room cost $9 a night in Buenos Aires vs $28 in New York City. Not only is the accomodation cheaper, but eating out is also relatively affordable.

Want to be richer? Try moving to somewhere cheaper.

How To Make Money As a Street Performer

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

If you ever need money fast, becoming a Street Performer in a major city might be the best way to make money fast. Of course anyone can be a begger and simply put out a sign asking for money, but thats the slow and boring way to make money, plus it offers very little value.

Types of Street Performers
1. Magicians – Learn some magic tricks and start performing in the street. Make sure to request money if the trick was good enough.
2. Musicians – If you play any musical instrument just start playing in the street and leave out your hat or instrument case to collect money. Singers work well too.
3. Skilled Talents – This could be anything out of the ordinary including juggling basketballs, juggling, or just reading people’s minds.
4. Honesty Begging – Usually these are directly honest and funny at the same time. Messages I’ve seen include, need money for vacation, need money for beer, or something like poor college student traveling the world…
5. Statue People – Dressing up as a statue with tons of paint.

Tips for Making Money As a Street Performer
The more attention you can grab, the faster you can make money. Those that are able to draw attention to themselves are able to draw in more money, since they’ve got more pockets to stick their hands into.

Vary your performances and figure out which acts bring in the most money. Measure one performannce style versus another and try to figure out which is the biggest money draw in.

Don’t worry about what other people think. This is a great way to become more confident, enjoy yourself and make some money.

Making Money By Blogging Online, A Fun Job?

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

It feels like making money is like just a day of hanging out talking with friends, and at the same time making a lot of money at a fun job.  Sure I make money online for a living, but would I do this even if I wasn’t making any money? Most certainly.  Before I started making any money online I used to spend a few hours a day surfing, chatting with friends and just developing websites for free. The only difference now? I get paid for what I do.

So my basic point is, blogging online can be a fun job, as long as you love doing it.  Any hobby that you can turn into a job that pays the bills is going to be the best job you ever have.

I have friends that studied languages and now for a living they teach them, since they enjoyed learning them so much.  I have other friends who loved fixing stuff, so they became mechanics.  Then those friends who loved animals became vetrinarians.  Do what you love and turn it into a career.

So blogging online can be the best way to make money, if its something you enjoy.  If you aren’t a computer person, or enjoy writing, or even going online, then you might want to rethink the whole making money online idea..
