Tips For Begging For Money Online

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

There are plenty of ways to beg online for money as I wrote in a previous post about begging for money online. Besides for visiting those sites on that post, like prosper.com, it takes more than just asking for money to actually get money.

1. Don’t just ask for money. Everyone wants money, so why should a give anyone begging on the internet some money?
2. Provide proof and photos. The more you can prove that you actually are in a dire situation, the more chances you have to get cash. Why not shoot a YouTube video? Provide pictures, testimonials, whatever it takes to show that yes, you are not just anyone, you really need to beg for money.
3. Have an easy way to collect money from begging. Most people prefer to use paypal. Paypal is one of the easiest and most accepted ways to recieve money online.

So please stop writing send me money, I can’t pay my bills. That definitely is not the way to beg online for money and get results.

Tips and Travel Advice for Visiting Buenos Aires

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

I arrived in Buenos Aires and thanks to a few tips I followed I arrived safe during my visit here. I was worried about visiting Buenos Aires since my Spanish is very limited. Though no one seems to speak English here you can still get around without too many problems.

Tips for Getting from the Airport to Buenos Aires City Center
I was recommended not to take the public bus since it’s a bit more dangerous taking your luggage. Rather I took a special bus called Manuel Tienda Leon Transfer which for about $10 usd brings you straight to the city center. Of course I had to exchange my cash in the airport, which generally is the worse exchange you will ever get, but still worth it to be safe.

Taking a taxi? You could, but you have to be careful since many will try to rip you off charging you often double the price.

Booking a Hostel in Buenos Aires Tips
A hostel always seems like the best idea to me. My hostel is costing me about $10 usd a night for a six bed dorm. Still you can pay about $25 a night and get your own private room, the cost of a 6 bed dorm in the USA. Hostels take old and young. I’m currently stay at the MilHouse Hostel which seems to have a new activity every night. Last night was open mic guitar, though unfortunately I was too tired from the 10 hour flight the night before.

Though I’m here in the winter of Buenos Aires, the weather is still comfortable. I need a light jacket but I find that better than sweating in 80 degrees.

Tips To Buy New Domain Names, Buying a New Domain Name

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

I own plenty of different domain names. At first when I bought this domain name, clickfornick, I thought it just sounded clever. Though I wish I would have known these domain name tips earlier, it’s not to late to buy other new domain names with a better strategy than at the time I bought ClickforNick.

Valuating Your Domain Name
Letter in the domain – Less letters usually = worth more, but also most often already taken
Word in the domain – One word worth more, each additional word worth less
Spelling – Easier to spell = better and worth more
Searchable – Is your domain word highly searched? Then it will be worth more
Catchy? – I bought clickfornick because it is easy to remember. The easiest to remember the better.
The, My Beginning – Putting something like the or my in front of the name like myclickfornick is going to make the domain worth less.

Finding the Best Domain Name

I use bustaname.com and dotomater.com to help me find the best domains imaginable. I put in plenty of words and do a large search trying to find the best domain. Most of any good domains are gone, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t possible to still locate a couple winners.
