A little while ago, there were rumblings that Mischa Barton might be appearing on a few episodes of Gossip Girl. This was an awful idea that I am glad to report fell through. Instead, the Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that Michelle Trachtenberg (who people know mainly as either Buffy’s magically appearing little sister or that girl from EuroTrip) has been cast in the role for which Barton was originally being considered.
