Joey, one of my personal favorite charachters, is a spinoff of the show Friends. Though this show was short lived on NBC, we can still watch the episodes of Joey online that were made on Aol’s in2tv. You might get a better idea why this show didn’t make it, just from the few first episodes.

Matt LeBlanc comes back as the same charachter that he played on Friends. He moves to Hollywood in order to pursue his acting dreams.
