Did you ever dream of owning your own big screen screen tv projector, but never had the cash to afford one? Well for $300 and lower you can build your own big screen tv projector using a few of the free guides available out there on the internet.

1.Tom’s Guide: Build a Big Screen for under $300
Tom’s Guide takes an old lamp projector, that kind you find at school, and suggests putting a flat screen monitor under it. View the whole article here

2.Engaget’s Guide
They ended up spending over $700 on their project, yet they didn’t go cheap on anything. They bought basically new everything. Still, this is another alternative to look at besides for Tom’s Guide. View the whole article here

3.Invent Geek’s Guide
They ended up spending the least on their project. By the end, they spent $174. Consider that $110 was just for the projection screen. Not bad! View Invent Geek’s guide here

Overall, sometimes building something like this yourself is in the bottom line, cheaper. Who could imagine having a big screen TV for under $200?
