For a little more than $300 you can pick up the Apple TV that supposedly makes your life a whole lot easier by brining the online tv experience away from the computer and into it’s only separate hardware.
The Pros
It brings your Itunes collection to the TV. 40GB hard drive for storing content. Ability to stream video over a wireless network.
The Cons
Though it does have a wireless internet connection, all video has to be downloaded via another device like a computer. Why shouldn’t we be able to watch computers right from the web?
Overall I find this device highly unneeded. Though it does bring you away from the computer, is it really worth an additional $300 just to watch videos on your tv that you already downloaded on your ipod or computer? Why not just get a video cable and connection your pc to your computer directly?
