Today I received two digital to analog converter coupons giving me $40 off the DTX9900, Zenith DTT900 digital to analog converter boxes being sold at Radioshack and Bestbuy, as well as a few other electronic stores. If you haven’t heard already, in 2009, analog tvs simply won’t work. You’ll have to upgrade to a digital tv or get a digital to analog converter box like the DTX9900 or the Zenith DTT900. To ease the transition, the federal government is giving $40 vouchers which can be requested here.
Zenith DTT900
Included is the
* Zenith DTT900 Digital-to-Analog Converter Box
* Remote control
* A/V cable
* RF cable
* User’s guide
* Quick setup guide
* AAA alkaline battery
The included remote really makes this a good buy. Plus, people have reported recieving a dozen more channels just by making the switch with this digital to analog converter.
DTX9900
Included is the
* Digital Stream DTX9900 Digital-to-Analog Converter Box
* Simple Universal Remote control
* User’s guide
* Quick Installation guide
* RF cable
* AAA alkaline batteries (2)
The best feature is the ability to crop a 16:9 image to fill your 4:3 screen, for those who have a 13 inch tv like me and find that a 16:9 image can be a bit too small.
Overall both devices will do wonders for your current tv setup if you are still stuck on analog… It’s time to upgrade and join the HD TV revolution!

I was hoping you could publish a detailed comparison of your experience with the two boxes. I am trying the Zenith DTT900 currently. There are certain reasons why I’m dissatisfied with it. The biggest reason is the poor reception compared to the other one I’m currently trying, which is the RCA. For this reason I’m considering the Digital Stream instead. If you end up writing a detailed comparison, please e-mail me.
