Not only does Netflix rent movies online, but Netflix TV should allow you to connect directly to the internet with a supplied box that will allow you to download Netflix movies directly over the internet. Could this be an alternative to cable tv?

The titles will be the same as the current watch instantly that Netflix has through it’s online rental service.

Pricing for the unit is currently unknown.

The ability to stream will most likely already be included with your membership fee.

It’s highly probably that there will be some sort of cap to the service (not an unlimited number of watchable movies)

Expect support for connecting the box up to your current LAN. We could hope for Wifi support, but I doubt they’ll include that too.

Until then, Netflix still offers the ability to use your computer to download.
