Channel 4 is offering tons of your favorite shows online as long as you download their channel 4 tv application. But of course, like a lot of internet tv applications, they have restrictions, this one is only available for those living in the UK or Eire. Mac users? You can’t use Channel 4 Tv online either. So, that basically cuts out 99% of the world.
What you can watch with Channel 4 Online
Mostly UK shows like Father Ted, Peep Show and Teachers, the US comedy Reaper, FX channel’s brotherhood. Movies are also available, but for a fee. They’ll cost you 1.99 pounds to watch. Shows from the past 30 days are free and shows beyond that costs 99 pence to rent.
If you live in the UK or Eire, or have a good UK IP, this seems like a good deal. I’d love to give Channel 4 tv online a test drive, yet I’m currently in Germany so restricted by IP. Has anyone used Channel 4?
