
Emarketer studied what people are watching online and came up with some interesting results. As you can see from the graph, most people online are watching news and current events, of course that number has to be even greater with the current presidential race.
Right behind that figure is jokes, bloopers, funny clips and etc. Most likely people getting into YouTube frenzy. I was most suprised that only 27% of online video content being viewed is full episodes. Is that due to the fact that most full episodes of american shows are blocked from being viewed legally in other countries, or is the convergence of TV and the internet more hype than reality?
Even full length movies is only 14% of all viewed content. Have they failed to count sites like Alluc.org?
