VideoClix has released the beta version of their clickable internet tv program online. Those who sign up for the beta will be put in a queue to watch videos that are clickable.
How it Works
When you watch a video, you’re actually able to move your mouse over the videos and text will appear. Such as if there were a picture of the Grand Canyon, the clickable Internet TV will allow you to click the Grand Canyon in a video to find out more information about the Grand Canyon.
Great for Advertisers
At the same time, advertisers can take advantage of the clickable ads. If they have a product relevant to the Grand Canyon, clicking the Grand Canyon will also bring up relevant advertising related to the Grand Canyon. Advertisers effectively will be able to purchase adspace not online with commercial break, but with clickable content, advertising can be run throughout the entire video.
Clickable Entourage Demo
Even if you don’t want to sign up for the beta, you can try out a demo of the clickable software via this demo of Entourage.
