I’ve been asked time and time again how multiple Graboid accounts can be created. Graboid, currently limits users to one Graboid account which limits users to only 4000mbs of downloads per month. For many, one Graboid account isn’t enough. Here are a few ways you can go about creating more than one Graboid account.
1. One Graboid Account Per IP Address - Graboid remembers your IP address so it will only allow one account per IP.
3. What is a Graboid - The term taken from the movie Tremors, is now a movie download system which is one of the fastest I’ve experienced. I’ve managed to get a movie in 15 minutes on a cable internet connection.

Ok now listen everyone…i figured out hot to get this to work… so just email me if you want a new account…or you can do it yourself makes no difference its an easy 5 step guide

step 1: after you finished using your free trial completely remove Graboid and Video Lan
step 2: download a file called EFS (Effective File Search)
step 3: on the containing text tab check RegEx and in the search box type “graboid”
Step 4: after it finishes select all the files that comes up and delete them
remove them from your recycling bin
step 5: re-download Graboid and create a new account

Ok.. here is how you do it.
1. When you install Graboid, it takes you to a registration page…bookmark, or make a desktop shortcut to the page. Currently it is:

…but it may not stay that way.
2. Make sure you have a few email addresses handy so that you can create multiple accounts.
3. After you make an account, graboid can tell and will not let you create another, because it can tell by your IP and server info that it’s still you…here is where it gets a little tricky…you need to change your IP by using a proxy.
4. go to:
http://tools.rosinstrument.com/proxy/
5. find a working proxy by clicking on one in the well known public proxy list…next click on the proxy address, then click on the address under statistics for…if it comes up ping OK then it is a working proxy.
6. Next take note of the address (or you can copy, paste it), and the port number.
7. I am assuming using Internet Explorer 7.0 (although I don’t). In IE go to Tools, Then Internet Options.
8. Next Go to Connections Tab, then LAN settings button.
9. Under proxy server click: Use a proxy server for your LAN.
10. Put in the address (IP)and port from step 5&6.
11. Exit and restart IE…if you get an error either the proxy is a bad one…or your firewall blocked it…try redoing steps 4 through 10.
12. If all went well go to your bookmark, or shortcut for registration, or copy the link from step 1.
13. create your account.
14. Note you need to do an new proxy for each account. Some people have suggested that rebooting your router will do the same thing, but that doesn’t always work.
15. Alternative method is create a new user account in windows and install graboid there…when your done delete the account, and then create another new one. This does work…however, my method above lets you create as many accounts as you have email addy’s, and put less wear and tear on windows.

How can I help? I did forget one thing when giving these instructions. All of this is assuming that you are using IE and not another browser like Mozilla (my favorite, especially the add-ons). The important thing to know in these steps is this…
1. You must make sure that the proxy is setup in your default browser, because that is where graboid is looking for the proxy. If your not sure what your default browser is, then make IE or Mozilla the default. Here is how.
A. In IE got to Tools, Then Internet options, Then Programs. Under Default web browser click Make Default button. If it’s already grayed out…then IE is your default.
B. Mozilla – Go to tools, Options, Click advanced tab, then General tab. Under system defaults, click the check now button…then click yes to make it your default.
Oh by the way in Mozilla the way you set a proxy is to go to Tools…Options…Network Tab…under Connection….click Settings under the configure how firefox connects to the internet…click the manual proxy…and put in your proxy IP and Port.
Also one more tip if you want lots of email addresses go to http://www.mailinator.com/
actually you don’t even need to go there just make up any email address with you want with @mailinator.com on the end…it is a disposable email system. Anyway if you want you may email me at lucky69@mybadcomputer.com with your questions.

You’re right admin you can do a backspace and create more accounts…for users who don’t konow, RIGHT CLICK on the page and do a GO BACK or PREVIOUS. Put in the new user info and email. However I will warn you that this works with some and not all proxies. Proxies out of the USA seem to work great with this some in the USA don’t.

No jimmyboom…you don’t need to do the whole proxy thing all over…this is because if you choose an anonymous proxy your ip header info is stripped…in short set up your porxy…go to the account setup…set it up…then backspace and refill the form with new account info. Repeat until you get bored.

To be honest I think I´ve been busted. I tried with both methods mentioned above and rebooting my router and I still get a message saying that i might be using dial up or that I´ve already created an account.
I don´t know how or why it stopped working. When I was creating new users in my laptop it was doing wonders and now nothing seems to work. Heeeeelp!

HELP! I got the activation e-mail, but when I click on it (or paste it), I get a page on the graboid website that says 404 – not found. I can’t login until I activate, and I can’t activate! Any suggestions? The link at the top of this page (very beginning) brings me to the same thing.

There *should* be no problems…
The website signups through your browser are not IP tracked. All you need is a new login name and e-mail address as I have described above.

Using proxies and/or ip masking programs no longer works. the posted sites now only redirect you to a similar looking site, where the only difference is trial account is gone, and you must choose one of the 3 graboid memberships you have to pay for. Somehow they can now trace you regardless of hiding your ip.
Please correct me if im wrong!!!! have made new accounts before with this method and now it no longer works for me!!!

I forgot about efs actually, i tried it however, deleted what i found, blocked my ip and still i am told i have already made an account with them. i have double checked that my ip has indeed been changed using websites. is it possible that if i have videos downloaded from previous graboid accounts it could be preventing me from making a new one? i relocated the ones i had to another location, but the file extensions on them that graboid uses are still there…..any idea?

nvm figured it out. the ip blocker i was using was flawed. downloaded Anonymizer and for good measure made a new account from another computer. finally worked

I have succeeded in making multiple accounts with many of there techniques however, now, no matter which of them I try, it now always says I already have an account. Even with a different proxy, e-mail adress, and user name it still knows its me. Using annonamous surfing programs dont work either. Plz help!

Hey guys, I tried the new user account that GraboidRevolutionary suggested and that didn’t work. When Graboid came up, it didnt list anything about account other then just sign in. And the sign up page that is given by Toyzombie says please chose payment type even tho it does not list a way to even choose one if you wanted to lol.

The only way to make an account now, is to go to Start-Control panel-User accounts and create a new account, then log into that, and launch Graboid, and then click create new account

You can still make graboid accounts easily, but not as easy as it was with the link provided on this blog because as you probably know now it just redirects you to the payment method page.
Just so you know, Graboid doesn’t block an IP as soon as an account is made, it blocks the IP as soon as the account is activated via the email they send you.
I got onto the sign up page today by creating a new windows account just like old times, so just make a ton of emails, make a new windows account and start making accounts but don’t activate them until you are done. When you’re done going back and forth making your desired amount of accounts, go through your emails and activate them all one by one.
Remember don’t activate them untill you have made all the account you want, cause as soon as you active one then you can’t make more in the same ip.
And just so you know, there is no “new link” to the sign up page, it’s exactly the same, they have somehow hidden it, and proxies don’t seem to work now.

Try This, Go to a place with public computers or use a work computer. Install graboid and on first launch it will ask you to create a new account.
Also, the creating a new User account on my computer worked for me. I just have to hop on my neighbors wireless.

Hi
In an attempt to reduce fraudulent accounts, we only allow one new account to be created per computer and IP address. Therefore an account logged onto your computer, has created that as the dominant account.
If you would like a Graboid account, you will need to register on a different PC.

The only way that works for me, and still works, is factory reseting my computer. I lose everything but it works. So now im thinking that using returnil will work to. Since it clones a fake a windows inviroment, and resets the clone from your main windows folder

A few things,
Graboid just recently ended support for their Stars accounts, darn.
I noticed that some people are losing the videos that they have on their computers. What I do is this: when I get a video, I copy the .AVI file (or whatever)to a seperate folder on my drive, rename it, then delete the original folder from the graboid directory-it seems to work fine.

i did it and it let me create 3 new accounts before telling me i had an account already, idk how many it will let you do but im going to try to log on my new accounts and do the same thing over and see if it will let me create 3 new ones on each of the accounts i just created. good luck hope it works for all you!

Okay, I found the exact location where Graboid stores the file that
disables the Sign Up Bar.
In Vista/Win7 “C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Roaming\MozillaControl\profiles”
In XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\[Your username]\Application
Data\Mozilla Control”
Just delete everything in there since it’s all created by Graboid.

Graboid surfs this website. They blocked Mailinator.

Yea, i got the same problem as sammi. when i deleated the folder (In Vista/Win7 “C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Roaming\MozillaControl\profiles”) it would open but when i clicked create account it would crash
up untill about june 13th i was able to just make new users on my computer to bypass it, but for some reason it doesnt work for me anymore (i found out the new users thing was only working on my Vista computer not XP – incase that helps anyone)

Graboid admin probably saw my post and changed the way Graboid creating the profiles.
in the /profile/ folder you’ll see a folder with a random name (JFJ23NZ, etc) delete the ‘cookie.txt’ in that folder.

The way i do it is connect my phone to my pc as a modem either through blue tooth or usb, and that gives me a new ip address.
Then i use the script that i got from here(copied on the bottom of comment) and i open up my graboid and make a new account with a new email i made from gmail.
Works every time for me

I know of no other way to make new graboid accounts than to keep changing your IP address, deleting the mozilla control for each new IP, and creating 4 sets of new graboid accounts. If you know of any other way to make more accounts on a single IP address (I think i’ll eventually run out of random IP addresses, so I’m trying to maximize as possible), let me know!!
P.S: The new window user account thing failed; all the proxy websites that i went to were also useless (directed me to graboid download page). Anyone has any suggestion besides these two, let me know (please).

I have used several new email addresses from my home wireless router and never had a problem getting a new 4 GB using new email and user name etc. but as of yesterday it will not let me open a new account it comes back with my old one every time. I have removed the Graboid programme from my laptop and logged on to a different wireless router reloaded the program but still get my old user name back every time. How do I “clean” my laptop. any help would be really appreciated.

if ur ip is dynamic then u can create 4 accounts per ip else if ur ip is static then u can use proxy site like hidemyass.com to browse … enjoy ..:)

college PROPS buddy. that actually works!!!! that was the first method i tried and wayyy easier then all that proxy changing/ reg edit shit. good job man, making like 20 accounts as we speak !!

Well Ive completed all the steps, and I know I did them properly. My new proxy works just fine. The only thing I cannot figure out how to do is create a NEW account. It keeps automatically signing me in on my old account with the used-up bandwidth.
Can someone provide me with a link to where I can create a new account with new information?

Hi guys LOOK AT THIS!!! ok so i figured this out! download graboid on your computer click create account create an account and then verify it and do that again DONT LOG IN YET keep on creating as many account as you like but make sure you have all the log in infos, IF YOU ALREADY LOGGED IN YOU CANT MAKE MORE ACCOUNTS UNLESS YOU DOWNLOAD GRABOID TO ANOTHER PC AND USE THAT GRABOID JUST FOR PASSWORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easiest in the world i just used a user name and i used up all my bandwidth so i went to another computer in my house and downloaded Graboid on that computer and did what it says above, BUT if you want to keep making accounts, dont login on that other computer, youll have unlimited accounts

I have found that you can only create 4 accounts on a profile. I never found where the profile informationis being stored at. So create a dummy account on your computer, use the 4 accounts then uninstall graboid. clean up left over files, I use a batch file for this.

5. install graboid
6. log into new user account.
7. Create new graboid accounts. (if you don’t sign in you can create all 4 accounts) note; you can only create 4 graboid accounts per computer profile. Start at step 1 per each 4 accounts you wish to make

i can access the free page to fill all the details but if keeps saying i have already made an account, i have tried deleting all reg files, i have tried making a new windows user account and i have tried changing my ip through hide_the_ip or hide my ass etc , but no luck… getting the new account button is a sinch but it keep remembering me… i do have a static I/P if somone could email me a method or some accounts would be great help cheers… azzza51@hotmail.com

there is a way 1. go on graboid and sign in type in the search box behind the scenes and then click fast and furious one and then click more info it will take u 2 google just do the same you did b4 and it will do it

Graboid doesnt take IP addresses.
Makes 2 windows accounts.
1 windows account for creating users.
1 windows account to download.
Plain and simple.

Got it working.
1. Uninstall both Graboid and the LAN movie player.
2. Delete the cookie.txt file in MozillaControl and then reinstall and create new account.
3. Profit???
