Would you go to Blockbuster to download movie downloads in the store? Blockbuster is considering a special movie download kiosk that can be placed in stores. So you would have to drive to Blockbuster, download your movie and then return home. Sounds like a great idea right?

Of course we all know that Netflix is beating Blockbuster badly simply for the convenience. Why drive out to the video store when we can just watch it at home? Sure the download kiosk might be practical at some locations, train station, airport, bus stations? But seriously, would you drive out to a Blockbuster to download a movie?

Blockbuster, a destination to drive to?
The biggest problem Blockbuster faces is, people are finding no reason to go to a Blockbuster store anymore. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been in a Blockbuster. Blockbuster has been toying with the idea of turning Blockbuster more into a destination. They would consider setting up a bar where people can buy drinks. Consider providing free wifi access and even a place to play video games.
