The deadline for the LA Short Film Festival is coming up soon with a deadline of May 26, 2008 to submit your short film. Entry Fee: $59 – Shorts under 30 minutes Entry Fee: $69 – Long shorts 30 to 60 minutes.
According to the LA Short Film Website: “In past years, 30 participants have earned Academy Award nominations with 9 short films winning Oscars. Last year’s award winners received prizes totaling over $100,000. The festival annually attracts thousands of entertainment professionals looking for the hottest new talent.”
Not only is this a great chance to submit your work, but also to catchup on some of the greatest short films.
LA Short Film Video Player
LA Short has their own video player where you can watch the video from the day or browse some short video clips they’ve chosen. LA TV as they call it has some decent clips to watch but overall the list not quite impressive.
