Open Film has launched recently in beta mode requiring anyone who wants to join to upload a film before accessing the website. Those who do upload their own created films will get a 50% profit share with the site.
According to the site Open Film:”Openfilm.com is a brand new community and video sharing site for serious filmmakers and those who seek the best videos on the web. It is a library of high quality, entertaining content as well as a forum between creators and their audience. ”
Keep in mind that Open Film is not just another YouTube clone. They hope to exhibit quality films from new film makers. Each selection is screened by the Open Film board members and once approved, they’ll be shown on a large custom video player.
Visit Open Film in Beta, though there isn’t much to see until you upload a film.
