The Verismo Box is set to launch as a gadget to allow you to connect your TV directly to the internet to watch internet video without dealing with connecting your computer to the television. Verismo is calling their box “the Pod”. One factor that will lead to them selling a lot of the Pods is the fact that YouTube plans to promote this product as well.
Verismo has partnered with YouTube, and BitTorrent, as well as vTap for other search capabilities. Worried about your Amazon downloads? The Pod handles DRM as well, so you can watch any of your paid video downloads right on the box.
