Yes Charlie Unicorn now has sequel with Charlie the Unicorn Part 2.  But who created the Charlie the Unicorn Series? That would be Film Cow.  They spend their free time making all sorts of crazy YouTube videos.

What Software Do They Use to Create Videos?
On their website they’ve said “I work on a Mac so some of my software is Mac only. For editing I use Final Cut Pro. For drawing I use Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Flash, depending on the cartoon. For animation I use Adobe After Effects. ‘The Cloak’ was drawn with Flash and animated in After Effects, while the original ‘Charlie the Unicorn’ was drawn in Photoshop and then animated in Flash (although Charlie 2 was done in After Effects.) For audio recording I use a small little program called Amadeus Pro, and for music I use Logic Pro. Most of my 3D stuff is either done in Carrara, Bryce, After Effects or Poser.”
