Swingtown on CBS has debuted for the summer season.  Watch Swingtown a period piece that “takes viewers back to the 1970s for a look at suburban households testing the murky waters of sexual revolution, following swingers throughout open marriages, “key parties” and other swingers extravaganzas.”

So far the first two episodes of Swingtown have been mildly success.  One of the biggest problems with Swingtown is the fact that it is on network tv.  This means much of the content needs to be “dumbed” down for a much larger audience, leaving the show limited.  Shows that Swingtown, though a great idea, turn out much better on cable networks like HBO where producers have a lot more freedom on the content.   Though Swingtown is a show about sex and promiscuity, the actual scenes are limited in their “juiciness”.
