If you thought the web wouldn’t get weirder, well dog breeding videos online certainly isn’t helping, though this niche idea, certainly is unique compared to anything we’ve witnessed so far. Here owners can talk about their dog, share pictures and videos, and social network by communicating with like-minded dog owners across the globe.

What we think about DoggySpace
The layout is pretty basic, but it’s quite easy to find videos.  As a social networking site it’s a bit lacking, though they do list some dog profiles on the frontpage.  The colors and the logo sort of remind us of Digg.  DoggySpace is pretty easy to navigate so if you’ve got a dog this might be a great place to start getting your dog on the world wide web.

Something DoggySpace should have learned… is that making it easy for users to embed your videos on their websites will bring more traffic. Would YouTube be where it is today without that embed option? No. While it is possible to “steal” videos off DoggySpace’s website, you’ll have to look in their html code to do it.
