Dowloading Illegally in France. Think Again

By admin | Jul 7, 2008

Those who want to file share illegally in France, i.e. torrents and peer to peer, might want to think again.  Anyone accused of downloading illegally in France will have their internet connection severed. This means you’ll completely lose your internet access. They’ve got a three strikes and your out policy.

“There is no reason that the internet should be a lawless zone” is one of the main reasonins behind the measure, which France now wants to amend to the European Union constituion so that all member nation will have to abide by this strict rule.

If you live in the UK?  You’ll most likely be sent a letter if Virgin is your internet service.  They’ve been simply sending letters to violaters warning them that they could lose their internet if they continue illegal downloading.
