Google has been stepping up their Google Maps lately adding a street view option, as well as geo tagging for photos.  Now Google is considering adding geo tagging for YouTube videos which would allow you to pin point videos by location.

Take for instance you click New York, you would be able to find videos based on streets, and attractions in New York.  This would make seeing the world a lot easier.

Of course the major benefit for Google is the ability to cross brand all it’s products.  It will have a way to combine google earth with YouTube as well as Google Maps.
