Google CEO Eric Schmidt is giving a push toward monetizing YouTube with a push toward some new form of monetization (as if Google didn’t have enough money already). As YouTube has been reported over and over again, monetizing YouTube effectively seems to be a rather real challenge.

According to Schmidt, “There will be new monetization forms. That is what we are seeking. That is the holy grail. When we find it, it (monetization) is likely to be very large because of the scope and scale of YouTube.”
