The ZeeVee ZvBox has begun shiping into stores bringing content from your computer directly to your hd tv. The ZeeVee ZvBox will allow you to wirelessly connect your computer to your tv and control the content you watch without any wires getting in the way. Sounds like a good idea right? Well yes and no. First consider the cost. It will cost you $500, almost half the cost of a big screen tv to connect
your pc to your hd television. (ouch).
Some benefits of the ZeeVee ZVBox include:
ZvBox is a great value since one unit drives every HDTV in the home.
ZvBox delivers everything that you can access through your computer without any additional fees.
ZvBox is easy to use, since consumers tune into the Zv channel as they would any other cable TV channel.
ZvBox localcasts everything your computer is doing in HD quality.
Since it uses the video/monitor output of the computer,
ZvBox has the most extensive compatibility with all forms of Internet content and local media, without adding any additional processing load on the computer.
In addition to video content, ZvBox extends any computer application to the home’s HDTVs, including email, web browsing, photos and music.
No set-top-box or wiring clutter in the living room.
No wireless network problems related to setup, interference or video quality.
So whether or not to get the ZeeVee ZvBox should just come down to money. If money isn’t an issue, go right ahead and buy it, but if you don’t have that kind of cash, definately just move the laptop right into the living room and hook it up directly.

I think you missed something here. ZvBox uses the home’s existing coax (not wireless) to broadcast your computer’s video (and Internet) to all the HDTVs in your house. It is a good deal since you don’t need to buy multiple STB devics at each TV. You only need a ZvRemote in the living room, keeping it free from clutter or ugly wires. For many homes, hooking up a laptop to the TV is kludgy solution not appreciated by your family.
