Nielson has shown that watching the Olympics Online with NBC is very popular and in fact many fans prefer to watch the Olympics Online, since all the games are live, rather than see NBC’s delayed version on TV.
Already on August 9th Nielson reported over 4 million fans tuning in. But, following close behind was Yahoo Olympics sports coverage with 3.3 million fans.
If you haven’t caught on yet, fans are over at nbcolympics.com watching the game live, though it often means staying up through the night to watch everything live. Though for some matches, like Michael Phelps latest swims, it was worth it for fans to pull an allnighter.
