After Graboid switched it’s system, no one has been able to create a new graboid account for free, rather they have had to switch to Graboid’s premium options, costing at least $10 per month. So since Graboid disabled their signup screen, users have been looking for an alternative option toward creating a new Graboid account.
(Graboid is a software that allows users to download movies… fast and uses usenet to find it’s files. So far we’ve been unable to find a faster alternative.)
Though many users have tried finding their own hacks, there really is nothing that has proved effective. The only way you can create an email is through your own unique email, nd unique ip address. Basically Graboid is one account per person (or ip address)

Nope, this does not work…I even went thru the regsitry manually to find any hints of “graboid”. And I did both a regular and a registry scan with ccleaner…nothing. Found plenty of leftovers when I had uninstalled Graboid and VLC and I deleted those … but still my name was on the login screen when I reinstalled. And I don’t have a clue to where the program is hiding my data.
Nope found a better way just create more accounts on your computer and then open graboid in the new acc and it will let you create the new account. then after making the account you can delete the user off your computer and all its components now login to graboid on your new acc, i have 4. this is genuine it works!!
the most effective way i just found is an ip changer because in many forum they say graboid let its files hidden in your system but not it does recognize the IP Adresse so It won’t let you create an other account but don’t worry this is the way I did and I’m having fun

use altiris virtualisation software (free from cnet download.com) with graboid and when ur done, delete the layer, create a new one and then restart your internet to get a new ip and you can create another 4 accounts before loggin in for the first time

the effective file search does work don’t use the first search box use the last tab and put a tick in regrx than type graboid than search once it finds dlmanage.msi (something)let it search till it gets to cookies.txt delete all the files in the box close make sure you uninstall graboid first than do above you can leave video lan it doesn’t matter.after that is all done reinstall hit new account. now they changed the way you make a account it looks for a valid e-mail no made up ones anymore.so goto a plce like gispuppy.com or any other disposable e-mail site it read the site it will explain more rather than me typing it. ans wala beat the system again..l8er

For those of you having issues with the EFS. You firstly need to goto ‘Main’ Add C: and ‘My Documents’ Then goto the containing text tab and click RegEx. Search Graboid and if you don’t find something, then you -should- be able to create a new acount. The first time I searched, I found DLmanagerConfig.Ini.

It has to be something with the ip addresss.I tried using the signup page as mentioned above, via my mac which didn’t have anything to do with graboid and it still picked up my account.the only way this is possible is if it reads my ip as my mac and pc are using the same router.anybody have answers pls email them to wojtekwojtek9@gmail.com a precaution in case the graboid ppl searched “graboid hack” as well…

Look the easiest way is to use a virtual machine to create new accounts only. Set up Graboid create a new account create an email account and verify the new account when they send an email to that new email account. Then log on to your original graboid machine with the new account.

I have dsl so i turn off my modem and back on to get a new ip address that is your problem your ip i use the link that delroy has and it works like charm but read my post about gighpuppy I gish my email I’ve doing this time after time and it works great and delroy thanks for the link oh and when efs expired i tryed just regular windows search made sure it look for hidden files and folders and it worked now my name old name was in the account when i reinstalled but i just put in my new name and pass and wala
sorry to add more but i was wondering where graboid was getting most of thier movies from and I\’m convinced it from torrents so I downloaded a program called Vuze and I go to places like mininova or ilovetorrents you save the movie you want but click on the torrent than with vuze up and running it will start the download now unlike graboid you have to unzip the aka win rar but no more messing around trying to get accounts heck I even get ps2 games hope this helps

Hi everyone! i fugured out how to make many accounts.
go to SOMEONE ELSE’S computer( or make a user account from windows, i havent tried this, but it might work the same.) where they dont have GRABOID at all, download it for the first time.
then when you load up graboid after finishing installing, click on “create new account” and enter information as desired.
BUT, THE TRICK IS
after you make the first account, DONT LOG IN OR CLICK TO LOG IN.
instead, go to “create new account” at the bottom AGAIN, IMMEDIATELY( dont click on ANYTHING else)
and keep on doing it and keep on making new emails and new info.
i tried this method at someone else computer and i was able to make 4 new accounts with 4 different gmails.
* YOU NEED A REAL EMAIL ADDRESSS!
I SUGGEST you create new emails from google.ca gmail, its really fast and efficient ( no need to put address, postal code, takes seconds to make!)

You might also want to try booting up a linux liveCD (like Ubuntu), installing WINE, then installing Graboid and creating a new account. Then when you reboot it would erase all changes, and you just wash, rinse, and repeat.
Ok I think Graboid is onto us. THe only thing I think will work is changing the ip of the router. Turning it off and back on may give you a new ip address but in my case I think they are seeing the mac address too. I think the solution will be to access your router and clone a new mac address so that you will get a new IP address as well.
Then use notmymailbox.com to create a temp email and http://users.graboid.com/subs/signupApp.php?price_group=-21
to sign up.

This is what worked for me. Delete these folders:
C:\Program Files\Graboid
My Documents\Graboid
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Graboid Inc
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Launcher
C:\Documents and Settings\[your profile name]\Application Data\Mozilla Control
C:\Documents and Settings\[your profile name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Graboid Inc
Then run regedit and delete all folders and registry entries with graboid in them. Doesn’t hurt to also run the Disk Cleanup utility.
You don’t have to delete the set-up program… no need to keep downloading it over and over.

what I did was uninstalled Graboid then I change my IP (I have DSL and went to my router website and reset modem and got a new IP) then went to site Delroy posted and made a new account and it worked…

I reset new accounts 4-5x, now it stopped working. I uninstalled vlc and graboid. Then I deleted the 6 folders that David showed us. Used CCleaner and searched graboid on regedit. Finally, I would flip the switch on my router. Worked before, why would it stop working?

Not sure what all the fuss is, but i have been using Graboid for 3 days now and i got 6 different accounts, never had to change anything to use it just started making accounts,i have not had to delete anything off my computer or HD or anythng like that, if you got any gusetions i might be able to help.
BTY i have got 11 movies downloaded and every time i make a new account they transfer with it, you should not have a problem with it.

hey guys, ive been coming to this site for awhile now and getting tips, i have been using the sign up page link to create my accounts and it has worked all the way up untill today. Every time i try an ip changer i have complications with vista. I tried to use my lappy and now the sign up page tells me that graboid does not allow dial up, funny thing is i am still on the same connection ive had for months. So, up until about a week ago there were posts on this board every couple days. Now there hasn’t been one in a week.
I believe Graboid switched to a new version (1.3 to 1.4) and they have solved a lot of the cracks. Does anyone know of a NEW crack?
I used the old crack for a while (the new subscriber link), then they got me, then I used a proxy server, which they’ve stopped allowing, and I’ve recently tried EVERYTHING, and it doesn’t work any more. I uninstalled Graboid and cleaned the registry manually, then I downloaded the EFS program and searched for “graboid” using the instructions above (RegEx), and still it doesn’t work. I tried it all again using a proxy, and it didn’t work. I tried using proxies for both Mozilla and Internet Explorer. Nothing.
So, does anyone have a real, genuine fix for this? Why wouldn’t a proxy work after I’ve cleaned the registry? That doesn’t make any god damn sense, right?

nothing was done to get the first couple free accounts. but now, i’ve tried getting new accounts in different computers but it still says the above.

hi all just checking back I can’t belive your all still trying to use graboid. I found a much easier way to get movies the same way graboid does it just a shell over program. what you need to do. is download a bit torrent like utorrent or vuze than join a torrent file place like mininova or ilovetorrents. you find your movie or game whatever..than save the file have with utorrent running double click on the file and wala your downloading the movie FREE.. no more trying to get accounts and all the crap.ever since I figured out where graboid was getting thier movies I just forgot all about them. google the stuff I said trust me you’ll enjoy it alot more.. l8er ,,,,,Bill
No disrespect bill but the problem with downloading from torrents is that they are a peer to peer network and the download speeds vary and a film can take over a day to download. Sometimes even days!! Graboid exploits or utilises Newsgoups which are run on newsgroup servers generally on backbone ISP Networks which allow extremely fast downloads much quicker than peer to peer networks. For example I downloaded a film on graboid which took me 22mins the same film on a torrent with a demonoid tacker account (allows faster downloads) took 6 and a half hours!!

signing up in new computers is the only way.you can create up to four accounts.
do not login after creating your account,create another account(as the option is still present)
remember, once you log on there is now way you can create another account in the same computer.
have enough email ids before starting the process.

I have found the most practical solution in making multiple accounts. Its not as simple as the old witch took like 3 minutes to make a new account but this way will take like 10 minutes everytime you want a new account and plus your gonna need programs and operating system cd like windows xp or vista, i dont know if it works with and apple operating cd or the cd’s your computer comes with to restore your computer but you can try them. This way deals with the concept of restoring your computer. I think everyone knows that when you restore your computer that if you install graboid again that you can make another graboid account but thats unpracticle. I have a way that deals with that concept but is mutch simpler. Im gonna make a video and post it on youtube but i feel like ill get in trouble so dont judge me so what i will do is make a video and upload it to a website where someone can download it and post it on youtube. so what i need is someone to live a comment in here saying they will do this for me, thanks

Thanks, New Graboid Hack, but that hack doesn’t really work. It works in that when you start the Graboid program there is a “New Account” button, but every time you try to register for a new account, it tells you that you’ve already registered.
I’ve tried proxy servers, everything. No dice.
What we really need is a computer programmer/hacker who can actually WRITE PROPER FULL DOCUMENTATION on how to do this. I’m guessing that this hack will work, but that a step or two is missing from the documentation here…

Dudes! All you need to do to get access to the sign up page is to access it within the graboid internet browser. You can do this when you click “more info” on a video… Just use hyperlinks to get onto the sign up page.
It probably also requires a dynamic IP/ip changer – but I’m not sure. Either way… worked perfectly for me =]

I feel so sorry for all you guys!! I had the same problem until about 30 minutes ago. No idea what I did, but now it lets me create a new one every time I log in.
I messed around with stuff, but nothing in the registry. The nice easy way to do it is make a new account on Windows, and then do it.
So yeh, it works great for me, whenever I run out of space I log out and create a new account. Does anyone know of a registry entry you can change to make it so you have unlimited bandwidth? Or is it all web based?
This is way out of my league.
What we need is a computer programmer that can get the codes and server host of this program.
Make an exact copy but change the looks and name. Also make it free
THen, Graboid Administration will lose out because they are actually charging us to get like 200 more kilobites than we would on torrents. THats ridiculous.So if someone can even get the codes to a hacker he should be able to do it in no time with a full team.

Since the users are just deleting files that are created on their computer and not actually reverse engineering the program itself, your threat doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
Also:
Just delete everything in there since it’s all created by Graboid to block the Sign Up Bar. The “cookies.txt” in the folders to be exact.
In Vista/Win7 “C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Roaming\MozillaControl\profiles”
In XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\[Your username]\Application
Data\Mozilla Control\profiles”

Found an extremely easy way of doing this.
1. Load Graboid
2. Search for “Google”
3. Click “Google – Behind the Scenes” and click “More Info”
4. Find a page with the “http://users.graboid.com/subs/signupApp.php?price_group=-21″ link and click it
5. Make your account and enjoy.
ok..I am FINALLY able to create new accounts. First of all, you need a dynamic ip address. If you have a static ip, you’re screwed because graboid looks at your ip. Using a proxy will not work anylonger, as far as I know, because I tried it for days. There is no more internet sign up, you have to sign up through the program itself.
This is what I did, I went to a computer that I never used graboid on before, I installed old version graboid 1.3(found on internet). Use this computer ONLY for creating accounts, if you sign in to graboid, I’m not sure if this workaround will even work. I created 4 new accounts on each ip address, after about 4, you’ll have to unplug your modem(mine is a verizon DSL modem), and plug it back in for after 30-60 seconds. Google ‘what’s my ip’ and check your ip address, make sure your IP address has changed. Reload graboid, and start making 4 more accounts. You’ll need a new email address for each account which can easily be made at gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc..seems all the disposable email sites have been banned from graboid, so use these instead. goodluck!
Just make another user account and install on there, and just continually make accounts on there and only log in on your main user account (once you log in once the New Account button disappears). I have used this method to make over 20 accounts.
Another option, without creating new windows accounts. And I didn’t have to change IP addresses.
1. Install Sandboxie(free). See docs to Create “sandboxes”.
2. Create New Gmail account(free). The longer the name the better.(example:johnndoe@gmail.com)
3. Install Graboid normally(free). (Do not log in or create new account yet)
Start:
To create a new Graboid free account, right click Graboid shortcut on desktop, select “Run Sandboxed”. Choose your sandbox. You can also do this with the Graboid installer and never have it actually installed on your PC!!!
Now click create new account in Graboid. Use gmail account created earlier (example was johndoe@gmail.com)
Activate, login and Download What you want!!
For a new account, after moving downloaded files, is delete the “sandbox” you used the first time or just use a different one.
Go back to “Start:” above except for your email address add a “.” (period) somewhere in your Gmail account address (j.ohndoe@gmail.com).
That will allow you to create new accounts using the same email address (less throw away addresses created). And by using sandboxie, you make “no” changes to your windows login account or pc. Only to the sandbox you used, which is easy to delete.
Once you do it, you will see how fast and easy it is.
FYI, sanboxie is great software to run “downloaded” programs in to verify no virus infection. If there is a virus, just delete that sandbox. Your system stays clean!!

for you guys having problems changing your IP address:
if you dont have a router google around for a mac address changing tool (smac or something similar) once you’ve changed your mac address Restart your modem, your ISP should issue you a new ip based on the reported mac address.
use grabs method for e-mail address use, you can have two dots in your googlemail address.. you can also change the end from @googlemail.com to @gmail.com too
so if you create a thisismymail@googlemail.com you can use t.h.isismymail@gmail.com or t.h.isismymail@gmail.com
the best way to be able to create new accounts is to goto start>control pannel> user accounts> and create a user account on your computer called graboids or whatever you like, then switch users to your ‘graboids’ user open graboid, the link will have returned for you to create another account.
once you’ve made an account (you get the EMAIL SENT screen) right click in it and select back, simple change your username and e-mail address and you can create another three accounts. once you’ve made them Switch back to your normal computer user and sign into them (its important that you dont sign into the accounts with your ‘graboids’ user)
The admin is just limited, he doesnt know what hes talking about. There is a way, simply change user accounts and you will get the create user screen. you should always be able to trick a trial program, its your computer.
I use the Sanboxie from the begining of this tread and proxy Swicher too, but if you don’t have dinamic IP can’t use many times with proxy or ip changer coz’ so many people already used them and now the ip-s are banned.
oh.. and yes, James Says if you were so smart, you won’t be asking for help to use graboid wich index UseNet network, u will hack UseNet network …. but once again, i don’t think you are so smart ..
Onother way is to install Virtual PC from microsoft, or other software wich alows you to intall Xp in XP ( a virtual computer on you’r real computer ) and way to many ways to trick a trial program …

The IP limit doesn’t affect whether you can create an account. We already know how to re-enable the “Create Account” button by deleting the “Mozilla Control” file. The problem is, even after you have clicked the “Create Account” button, you’re still UNABLE to make a new graboid account b/c of IP limitations.

in the ‘containing tekst’ tab fill in ‘graboid’ and check the ‘regex’ option
when search is complete, delete the found files, re-install graboid.

What do I read here? I submitted a trojan? Seriously? A trojan consisting of five (yeah like the number 5) lines of code? Come on! Blame your faulty Antivirus software. Didn’t I also be so kind as to actually write the batch code into my comment, so anyone could check the batch file and just c/p it on their own? Well be it as it may, my batchfile is NOT a trojan or a virus, it simply deletes the files, graboid uses to determine if someone had already created an account on his/her PC.

i was a paying customer of graboid and my account was good until today but last night at 9;00pm they said my account had expired and i lost 7000 mb so today i did a recovery on my computer (i put impotatnt things on my flash drive)after recovery i was able to create a new account and i created three free ones with 4000 mb each good for a month i created three gmail accounts to do this and it worked.
For everyone that wants graboid back!
This is the way i created a new account, first download this cracker file from this link. http://rapidshare.com/files/268012436/Graboid_Cracker_register_account_renabler.exe
Then when the cracker runs select re enable account then you can close it out
Then you need to replace the nss3.dll file in graboid using this link

when the link above opens press download then select SAVE
look for nss3.dll in your graboid folder select it and install the file to replace the one that is there. it may be hard to find but it is there and titled nss3.dll
After it has finished you can now click on graboid icon on your desktop and should let you create a new account from there i suggest using a different name and email address for it to work

If you open graboid and it says stoped working and closes, you forgot to download and replace the nss3.dll file!
The old methods of obtaining free accounts on graboid are no longer working and won\’t work again. But the pricing on graboid is pretty decent 5 bucks for 10000mb
Make 2 accounts in windows.
1 windows account for creating graboid users.
1 windows account for logging in graboid and download content.

THere is a free program called Hide My IP, which you can download a trial version of. Run it, and create another account. It’s quite simple.
A good solution would be to pay for Graboid, wouldn’t it? I pay just £3.50 per month which is so cheap for watching so many movies!

Ok if you want to remove all Graboid stuff (including user information) go to C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Graboid. I think I will try and edit user bandwidth.
the nss3 file is in the moz folder withing the graboid folder
